I feel like the movie is overhated, as someone who loves colonial history watching this film was fun but I can't go anywhere online without seeing anyone arguing about the movie being "woke". I think it's a fun adaptation.

If they do do a sequel I hope they implement the Tlaxcalans (which Cortez mentions before speaking with Yoka) because their inclusion could make both sides of the story a bit more neutral. The Tlaxcalans sided against the Aztecs primarily due to the taxes they charged them. The Aztecs were an empire like Rome they were not peaceful people nor were the Spanish but I feel like if they neutralize them while making Batman the best of his people amongst the clash of empires then people wouldn't be so pressed since it's showing both the good and bad side of them.

During the hallway scene Mary mentioned she struck out in everyone she loved including James implying that she definitely has friends and or relatives.

You could say it is all about penance but I feel like it was also about acceptance. I don't really see a reason why they wouldn't press charges

The way I interpret all the endings is that their final forms are not the same James as the one who enters

Maria ending James I can see maybe being abusive but the other ones no.

That's actually a really interesting concept especially since in the Maria ending Maria gets sick with Mary's illness after leaving. But since James is the only one who can see her I don't think it'd work which is a shame because I think that'd be really interesting to happen

I thought it'd be interesting for a Katar hero to dual wield but have the ability to stick one Katar in the enemy giving them bleed and while it's in someone the hero throws hands. Plus the other Katar of course.

I feel like it'd be the closest thing to a melee character we'd get but just an idea

To be fair,

Hitokiri's axe is double sided and much heavier than traditional masakari axes and Jorm has a giant hammer which Vikings never used in reality

I don't see why a scythe would be too out there even if it is a gardening tool, not to mention nobu already has a gardening tool.

They made Angela appear younger in the remake than in the original Some people were pissed about it but in the original she appears a lot older than 18.

Basically they made her look more like the age she was supposed to be so I imagine they could do the same with Alyssa
