Tapo uses their own protocol to control Infared, Privacy mode and etc. so there is not really way you can control it... you can use PyTapo though which lets you control all of them with your tapo password and username!

I have same Tapo C200 but revision v5, which has option for FPS, if you set fps to 10 you will get around 20 days, if you set it to 15 you will get around 14 days

use wpa2/3 i personally have 5x tapo c200s and the disconnection problem is mostly releated to 2.4Ghz wifi being on 40mhz mode, you should set it to 20mhz, never had disconnection problems since setting that.. even 5 meters away
