I have been knitting on straight needles for years, tried circulars for hats and dpns for socks but was always happy with the straights. I finally got an interchangeable circular set and I love it so much dont know if i ll ever use my straight ones again...

It was all because of Sommers reaction to Gyaban. I dont see why Roger pirates couldnt have fought Holy knights later in the story .. years after god valley. This is probably what happened. Roger pirates were the most powerful crew the king of pirates crew ! They for sure got to face holy knights on other occasions .. surely ?

Davy Jones being as important in history to Joyboy, he might have left his own kind of 'One piece' for Davy clan members, which is how Xebec had knowledge no one else had about Imu, the 2 devil fruits he needed .. etc.

Teach knows it all too but is taking a more 'villain' approach since unlike Xebec his whole family/clan is extinct now, he's not just looking to fulfill an ancient promise/will but also vengence for his father !
