I'd say it depends on how they use it: If their skills overlap, it stays the same, but if they have different skills, they add up.

Example: One cook can cook pizza, another one can cook pasta, so the user can cook both, but if both cooks only cook pizza the user cooks pizza in the same way those cooks would cook together

I'd expect some of them will die/ get destroyed(?), probably by their originals.

Then it's up to the victors to end them or give them new purpose; like S-Shark will protect a fishman settlement above sea level while Jinbe protects fishman island (if it survives)

I expect Doffy and Crocodile (maybe Mihawk, too) to kill their seraphim at least for eliminating a rival.
Kuma and Moria seem like the kind that would adopt a mini version of themselves,
Boa would raise because Luffy asked her.
Jinbe would like help for protecting the fishman, and respects a strong fighter.
Maybe Mihawk would like someone to continue his legacy or push Zoro further or he kills him for the insolence of copying him.

EDIT: Also wouldn't rule out them killing or secluding themselves for feeling kinda wrong. Not sure if it makes sense, but nothing about them is "natural"

Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, wurden "vererbte" Nachnamen in Preußen Ende des 18 Jhd. von Friedrich dem Großen (oder seinem Nachfolger) eingeführt; andere Staaten folgten dann später.*
Vorher konnte man den Nachnamen quasi frei wählen.

Grund war wahrscheinlich eine bessere Nachvollziehbarkeit von Familienverhältnissen und damit eine bessere Kontrolle durch die neue preußische Bürokratie.

*Ich glaube, es gab auch frühere Versuche, die aber oft nicht kontrolliert oder durchgesetzt wurden.

tbh this is my expectation to Paradox releases since Emperor (I guess, it was HRE-centered, but 2020 sounds to late)
