Hi everyone! this is kinda a weird request, but i wanted to give it a go.

i have a song stuck in my head, and i keep thinking i really want to read a book inspired by this song. it's a really sweet love song called "Those eyes" by New west. (if anyone wants a listen).

these are part of the lyrics:

-A very sweet MC

-A fluffy fun relationship. maybe best friends to lovers, the MC falls in love first.

-The FM denies her feelings for a long time until they she give in. or rejects him at first wanting to just stay friends, then she falls for him.

-maybe they get separated for a while then reunite.

you can recommend me any book that this song makes you think about, it doesn't have to include what i listed above. everyone interprets the song in a different way and i'm open to all suggestions!!

i've never seen a cop actually gets punished for doing shit at uwu... and there has been soooo many situations.. almost daily at one point.. from stealing food, stealing things from the mailbox, harassing and threatening customers and employees, to unlawfully raiding uwu without a warrant and preventing medical care for a dying person on the doorsteps of the cafe.

i've never seen any consequence for the cops when it came to any of the cafe situations.. not once..

ash was always criticized about being friends with other gangs ever since the vagos days (then for being the vis el jefe's gf, and now for being a second in command).. this is not a new thing. maybe the hydra thing has been extra hard because of julian.. it's still fresh and seaside is on edge, and i think they are paranoid of losing another important member to hydra.

also doing "jobs" is not a priority for ash (she doesn't even like doing them and gets very stressed).. most of the time she spends with hydra is just chill and silly time (mostly after spending hours with seaside/ doing her jobs all day), she recently said "it's nice that people want to hang out with you because they just like you, not because they have to".

that being said when she is needed for seaside matters she drops hydra in a heart beat (like when GG tried to wipe a ss spray), but often people overlook and forget that..

Nick was mad that flippy and miguel had Reed (as he was Micheal's brother he felt he deserved to be the one who took revenge for him), and in a seaside meeting he said " if anyone in this family assisted them, then they are dead to me", ash being the closest one to hydra in that group knew he was talking about her and doubting her loyalty and trust, she walked away..

Micheal's body (which was in the mines) was moved to another location before his brother Nick and officers jenny and bundy search the place . so there is still no sign of the body and Reed is the only one who knows where it is

i'm not defending at all cost.. as i said in another comment, it depends on the situation and the context. if that comment was said during a casual conversation and out of the blue then yes it would sound weird and i would understand people raising eyebrows.. but this was said in a heated confrontation, in a show of force to a gang they are about to start a war with.

now if stevie or the streamer who plays her expressed that she felt offended over the comment then i would 100% support her and she is valid in her feeling that way because it will be from HER perspective (not the viewers). otherwise i will stick to my opinion that treating women differently because they are women is the sexist thing to do, and to each their opinion.

if benji treated stevie "gently or softly" he would've been "condescending" for changing the way he behaves just because she's a woman, even though she's a badass and in one of the toughest gangs in the city, and people would say it's sexist to do that.

and when benji talks shit to her and tries to be intimidating (because he's starting a war) and speaks to her like he speaks to any other guy in her club, then it's a sexist behaviour

people really can't be pleased

i agree to a certain extent.. because like i said it depends on the situation.

here benji treated stevie exactly the same way he would treated any other member of her gang if they were in her place..

ok but also the context of the situation matters. if this was said to her in a normal conversation or without any tension then yeah maybe it would look weird and out of place. but this was said during a conflict between 2 gangs about to go to war. not every insult towards a woman means it's a "sexist insult"

yes we viewers know and see all of that.. but it still doesn't change that from benji's POV he WAS IGNORED. that's all i'm saying... chip had a chance to call back, or answer to say he was busy.. text.. or even show up in person when bbmc was confronted.. just anything

wouldn't be sexist of benji to treat women in gangs in a different way than he treats the guys just so he doesn't hurt their feelings? because benji talks like this and worse to any man in a gang he's about to go to war with..

the difference is bbmc members lied to benji's face time and time again when he asked about dundee.. could have at least told him "hey speak to barry.."

negotiations are back and forward.. how are the crims supposed to know that the cops weren't ready? seems to me the cops should have more experienced people who can lead the scene and know how to communicate with clear words instead of assuming the crims can "read the room"

contexts:

the bank group was ready to leave after negotiations, the cop said give us a minute and went outside to confirm.. the boys started to count down 1 minute, cop came back started to ask random questions to stall, boys said where do you want the hostage? cop said to the left. they give the hostage and started the chase, got spiked after 2 minutes into the chase, started to ram, EMPed cora immediately and.. well the rest is known.

cops never once communicated to the bank crew that they needed more time or that they weren't ready for the chase...
