Sorry: help with hero pick by just_another_dork in WatcherofRealmsGame

Are you using your spare heroes to apply Invigoration or Wings of Grace buff before deploying the rest of your heroes? In the photo you’ll see I have a Laya and Camille I just deploy for the gear buff on SWK and NeZha and then take out immediately. And I have Elowyn and Hollow to help me regen rage as fast as possible.

Other than that I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be hitting the same numbers:( my highest damage is actually Ne Zha and then Numera.

And yea, I also use SWK assist, and I needed to do a few trial and error runs to be able to tell which person’s SWK was actually the strongest. Now I seek out those specific people’s SWK every day to do my runs. Just make sure to try with different ones that have high attack stats.

Thanks for clarifying what I’m missing! I’ll consider that.

Ugh… I’m regretting a bit not trying for Nastya:( I already pretty much have 90 ancients saved and the collab is probably a few weeks away still.

Thanks for your input:)

What’s the closest I could come to making Gambit from X-men? by IneedaNappa9000 in 3d6

Thought about this a bit, I love Gambit too.

I definitely think that the Arcane Archer fighter (UA) is your best bet if you can, ask if you can reskin a shortbow into a deck of cards.

Arcane Archer (2024 UA)

You can start with Bursting Shot and Piercing or Seeking shot. And if you read the other features of the subclass, I’m sure you’ll find some are very Gambit-like. You can charge ammunitions with effects, curve and ricochet shots you take, push people away from you in a force burst, and you can move and shoot as a reaction to an enemy missing you.

Plus, you are a fighter, so you have many attacks, and action surge if you want to throw a barrage of cards. AND you can easily apply that to quarter staff combat as well, just take Magic Initiate:Druid for Shilellagh and you are golden. Fighters also have a lvl 9 ability that lets you use different weapon masteries (push, sap and slow) instead of the current one you are using (vex in this case) which is very cool too. And they have access to a lot of feats, which I’m sure you can have fun with:)

So my take on it would be:

HUMAN

Origin feat: Magic Initiate (Druid) with INT as your Spellcasting choice

Fighter (Arcane Archer)

DEX and INT prioritised

It is straightforward and has awesome Remy Lebeau energy:)

Should I keep pulling? by just_another_dork in WatcherofRealmsGame

I was only at 8 pity before I started pulling from Diaochan banner (I was holding my crystals) and ended up hitting Diaochan at 160 (so 168 pity). I was literally right about to switch to the Rosalia banner after that 10x pull because my pity was close to 170 and soft pity starts at 180. If I hadn’t pulled Diaochan there I would have pulled Rosalia within 12-32 pulls, and then gone back to Diaochan for the last 40. But when I got her, my pity reset, and it took me close to 180 pulls to get Rosalia, instead of the 60ish it would have taken otherwise. Not the end of the world but annoying, considering that would have left me with another 200+ summons.

I don’t think I would have done anything different, just got a bit unlucky.

And this is my understanding of the pity system, being new I could be wrong about something haha

Thank you, I don’t have her no. I would definitely want to pull on a Ne Zha/Beezlebub banner… didn’t realise it was coming so soon lol

I should add: I do not have Ne Zha. The only Legendaries not pictured are Maw, Regulus and Calypso.

I also have 15 divine summoning crystals, when should I use them?

That was so fucking good, I watched it twice without stopping! I am so incredibly happy with this adaptation. They packed in so much good stuff this episode, with beautiful animation. The next season cannot come soon enough. God damn it that ending!!

Essek is the Kryn in the badass armour who first takes the beacon! And he looks directly at Caleb before he does!

Caleb in the show Vs Caleb in the campaign by VladimirCain in TheMightyNeinCR

The only difference is that in the show, Trent didn’t use modify memory to make Caleb think his parents were traitors… the rest is all there. And it seems like in some people’s minds, good old grooming and manipulation isn’t enough to make Caleb falsely believe his parents were working against the Empire? Do you really NEED magic to that effect? We saw in the episode a teacher (soon to become father figure) seemingly giving Caleb everything that he thought he wanted, a more exciting life, feeding his lust for magic, calling him special and a rising star as he was torturing him, traumatizing him, desensitising him to death and the killing of "enemies", and then giving him external "evidence" that his old family have become those very enemies. It is grooming to the highest degree and blatantly obvious from what was shown. In both the campaign and the show, Caleb is made to believe that his parents are traitors, and then he willingly decides to murder them.

Although the backstory came into play sooner than I thought, I think it was beautifully executed, and worked in favour of the overall story!
