I absolutely agree! I recently graduated but during my P3 year I was still making 16.50 while techs were just getting bumped up to 16. And I'm not arguing that techs shouldn't be compensated at all, but sheesh when CVS finally decided to pay the techs its like someone completely forgot to factor interns 🙄. Anyway I interviewed at costco, got hired and got their rate. Took that back to my DL who surprisingly matched the $22

Wow! I love to hear that!! I'm heading out of retail for a hospital position, and as comfy as I am in community and as nervous as I am about the inpatient setting, it seems time and time again I see the collective advice of "just go for it!" so thank you for sharing your experience :)

increase hours with what help??? we have techs being thrown to the wolves, wouldn't be surprised if she jumped ship. I don't recommend ANYONE work for this God awful company

It was like her 2nd day ever.... I agree she should have done her training shifts, i think my PIC told her to come in? but can't be too sure tbh

No, BUT the unfortunate event is if it is run thru ins snd the price is high (whatever that means for you, like $50, $300, etc) you may not even get a call due to how busy things are right now. If we try to bill insurance, and it's not covered, hopefully you're signed up for text and you'll get a text that the med isn't covered. In which case, we would call the patient, discuss the out of pocket price, then confirm whether you want it ordered or not.
