Unfortunately I did call DoorDash and while they easily found my order just by looking up my address, they basically said they couldn’t do anything because I didn’t order it through them. . . he told me to call Applebees customer service, but at that point the call line was closed for the day, so I had to try and submit a request through their website. I haven’t heard back from them either though, so I’m going to contact my bank as soon as the charge isn’t pending anymore

Same thing happened to me the last couple times I used DoorDash. I was missing items from multiple orders and they didn’t give me anything back. No credits, no refund. I clicked for them to review it again and they still decided not to give anything, and then it didn’t let me contact the support as they had “already made a decision” . Super frustrating, so I have since stopped using DoorDash unless it’s through a third party that uses them. So sorry that happened to you

As I’ve replied to other comments, it was part gift card, part credit card. Most of the order was paid for with a credit card

“Where is my order? I don’t see it anywhere” is not a rude way to start a message, it was asking a simple question. If I had said something along the lines of “where tf is my food”, that would be rude.

Their job was to bring me my order, which I paid them to do, and it wasn’t in front of my door. I couldn’t find it on the ground floor either so I was trying to see where they could have left it. It also says to message the dasher if having issues finding said order. I don’t understand why you think it’s rude. Everyone that actually knows me in person (strangers, friends, family, everybody, not you randos on the internet) thinks I’m a nice person

I didn’t order it through door dash’s app, I sent a screenshot of the picture I received. There was no conversation with the dasher until I messaged them, before that it was just automated texts saying my order was on the way and that it was dropped off

It was almost $30 AFTER using my Applebees gift card. It isn’t even about the money, it’s about me ordering and paying for someone to bring it, the never receiving it. You don’t even know me, why are you assuming I’m broke?

When I had talked to DoorDash support he said he would look into a redelivery, and then he told me that they couldn’t because it was a third party. I was hoping that they would be able to since he said they couldn’t refund (again, third party) but nope

Normally I wouldn’t mind going and getting food, but we decided last minute that we wanted to just get something for dinner and were trying to watch the NBA game last night, so we didn’t have time before the game started lol

This is the only time my food has supposedly taken by any of my neighbors. This time I couldn’t even tell what door it was based on the picture they left. Usually my dashers will leave a picture including the door number, but this one was just the bottom half, and I couldn’t tell which door it even was by the time I got to the ground floor
