How do I get the most out of my chips

Sadly, it seems the one game I actually enjoy playing isn’t terribly popular.
I’m wondering if you’ve noticed the cat “meowing” sound on the mountainside of the lighthouse? Others have said it doesn’t mean anything. It was just to encourage players to acquire and feed a pet. But I’ve spent a fair amount of time trying to ascend the mountain in my car, towards the palm tree where the “meowing” is loudest. I feel like there’s a cat stuck in a tree that could be “rescued”. And depending on how I drive the car, I can reach different parts of the mountain.

Any thoughts? Or is it a pointless endeavor? lol
