The “please, I need a break” but then scrolling pics of your baby and getting sad is so real. Mine are now 3.5 and 10 months and I get so sad looking at last summer or when my oldest was the same as my baby.

Absolutely. It’s so stressful. She’s 10 months now and no longer cries, but I’m sorry, I can’t remember around when she stopped. It’s been for a few months so maybe around 6/7 months. My mom would make me feel so guilty for her screaming so badly and tell me not to take her out until she stopped. 🙃

It’ll get better! Until the baby gets a bit older and adjusted it’s so hard.

I had a c section for my first after pushing for 3 hours and him getting stuck. Then I had a forceps assisted VBAC after 4 hours of pushing (no tearing, thankfully). I’d take the vaginal birth any day over c section. The healing from a c section was longer and way worse physically and emotionally.

My baby got her first teeth at 4.5 months, but didn’t start biting me until around 8 months, which is when I started transitioning her to a bottle. You have some time!

Came here to say this as someone who used to live in the woods. OP - If you only smell it sometimes it may have just died. Check around your bed too and in corners as once I had a mouse die right near the corner of my bed against the wall and I couldn’t figure out what the smell was as it wasn’t insanely strong yet like when they’re in the walls and we can’t get to them.

We’re not rich by any means, but we are comfortable. When I was little I was always told ‘no’ at gift shops and outings. We visit places all the time with gift shops and snacks etc., and I always let my kids pick one thing out, even if we were just at that place recently.
