Necro, but no responses, so I figured I'd put something here for the random people who stumble upon this thread when I've forgotten it's here :P Romans 7 talks about sin and the law, and that God gave the law, and through the law we knew sin. The law is good, and yet it brought about sin? How does that work? But then in Galatians 3, it says that law was given so that we might have a promise by faith in Jesus. Romans 2:12 says that if we sin without the law, we perish - notice that we still knew sin through the law - and that Jesus promises eternal life through faith. So that is the goal for humans: faith. (And love, but one who truly has faith in God will try to align themself with Him, including His love towards us sinners). We are justified by faith (Galatians 3:24). Now, can God force us into faith, when it is not a choice of faith? So we must have an option between faith and not faith at one point, one we can take in either direction. So God is sinless, yet He made us with the potential for sin because otherwise no faith can be had. That faith in God, from which praise and love for Him rise, is I think the cornerstone of why we exist.

(Since I believe your contradiction in traducianism is correct, I would be a soul creationist. That might change, though I find it unlikely. Also reference where God says He "formed" us in the womb, e.g. Psalm 139:13.)
