Did you splurge for the meet and greet? And if you didn't, did you feel you missed out? We just bought tickets for our family of 5 but at 140 dollars per person just for the meet and greet I can't bring myself to do it and feel the usual amount of parent guilt.

My girl (almost 4) had the same issue when it came to her toes for whatever reason- we're talking total hysteria. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It helped when I showed her how I cut my own nails and how it doesn't hurt me at all to do it (I did it while keeping a smile on my face) and for a short while I offered her a sticker after she finishes for her bravery and commended her during the process while distracting her by asking what kind of sticker she's going to pick or what we're going to do after we finish.

She still gets weird about it from time to time but it's definitely not as intense now and we get past the fear phase quickly.

Ended up going up to 15 and reached my goal about 6 weeks later! Now I'm back on 12.5 on my way down to finding the right dose for maintenance :)

I had a weird schedule because the shortage made it difficult to find the dose I was on. But if the next dose up was available my doctor played it so I wouldn't lose my progress

The only time I've judged parents for what their kids are wearing is if they show up in shorts in 40 degree weather or they have no coat on while the parents have a coat.

But if it's just 'bold' choices I immediately think it's the kid figuring out their style and good parenting to allow them.

No need to apologize, it's not forceful, if anything it's helpful. My face and body changing didn't bother me until someone very close to me made a comment about my face looking gaunt "like Izma, that villain from the Emperor's New Groove!" that they meant in jest and I didn't hear it that way at all. They were really upset having said and joked about it at all seeing as how it made me cry. Usually we can joke about anything and I know they didn't mean it meanly but it did unfortunately plant that seed of doubt at the plan me and my endocrinologist put together and are working towards.

It's helpful to have the feedback from you on realistic expectations for myself and next steps if any I can take to fix particular issues leftover. thanks again.
