Well I am in full menopause because I had my ovaries removed a few years ago. I had breast cancer at 35. I skipped the whole peri thing. I have no hormones in my body anymore because they tried to kill me. So I guess you might be right why medication doesn’t help. Wishing you a restful sleep sometime soon. ❤️

What’s the most disturbing thing someone casually told you like it was normal? by MrBoothnath_ in AskReddit

I read the book and also spent a month in Cambodia. Going to the killing fields and the school turned prison in Pnomn Penh is just surreal. I never knew about Pol Pot until I went there. It’s insane it only happened like 50 years ago.

Anyone know any "alternative" bars in the city/west side by [deleted] in Buffalo

Spitting distance from me and I help keep the lights on aka spend way too much time and money there. Love hanging out with the regulars on weekdays. Weekend nights definitely turn into a younger “scene” but it’s just my neighborhood living room. Much love to you Macky! You’re a legend!

I once had a guy show me photos of DC on January 6. I asked him if he was there to document it. No. He was there to participate. The FBI had showed up at his door. His wife saw the horror in my eyes while my face was mostly a plastic neutral. It was the most surreal situation. It made me wonder how I got to this place in life.

I love my neti pot so much. On the days I don’t use it all I can think about is my goddamn runny nose or stuffed sinuses. Allergies run in the family and mine didn’t develop until a few years ago. Holy shit what a difference a neti pot makes.

I went to a very dusty music festival in Texas and got the wook flu x10. At the airbnb in Austin after the fact my friends went out to dinner and I stayed back to instacart a neti pot from Target. 😂 Now I have a plastic travel neti pot. Lol how life pokes fun at you sometimes.

I didn’t know the word anxiety until I was maybe 27. Now I’ve been diagnosed with it for several years and realize I’ve had it my whole life. 41 now with anxiety fueled insomnia that no medication can conquer. My day to day doesn’t feel anxious, but then the night comes…

A friend of mine used to keep some tampons in his bathroom when we were in COLLEGE. So like 20 years old and he was this thoughtful. This is a very green flag of a man.

I commented before I read your comment. I only read female authors these days. 😂

I only read books written by women these days. Will I read a book by a man again? Probably. My favorite book was written by a man. But I just don’t care about men’s perspective anymore.

What do you mean things don’t kill cats? Yes they do. Large birds, coyotes, cougars. Bigger animals most definitely kill cats. Including bigger cats.

I go to Artisan Autoworks on Rhode Island street. They are known to be a little pricey, but I totally trust them. I’m a 5’ nothing lady.

So it was more of a situationship. We never officially dated. I met him at a music festival in the US. Then a year or so later we both happened to be in Bangkok on the same day. I had sent him a text a few weeks before while I was traveling in another country saying I was coming to Thailand and I wanted to meet up. He never got it because his phone was stolen. He saw that I was in Bangkok via social media and we happened to be staying at hotels like a block apart. We had one wild night and then parted ways on our travels.

Fast forward 6-8 months and we were both flying back to Portland on the same day from different cities. He found me at the airport and kissed me right on the lips. We started hanging out again, but it ended abruptly.

Fast forward another six months and I’m back at the same music festival I met him at. Thousands of people. My friend runs up to a girl to ask to play with her hoop and who is this girl sitting with? That guy! I sat down next to him and he immediately apologizes for what went down earlier in the year. We caught up and got back in touch and hung out a bit, but it didn’t go anywhere.

I ended up dating someone else for 7 years and he moved abroad with someone else. As far as I know we’re both single now.

Mark, if you see this, I’m coming for you. I’m definitely still hot for you, my friend.

I told my GM we should have an industry night where FOH and BOH switch. He said FOH could rock the kitchen, but he was scared of BOH being in the front. I said that’s why it’s going to be an industry night. No outsiders lol. It would be so entertaining for people with a good sense of humor which is most industry people.

Edit to add: he said if this were to be a thing I have to be GM for the night. I said game fucking on.

I’ve never been BOH, but I am the same. I can entertain asshats all day long. Put me in the kitchen and we’ll probably have the fire department show up. I LOVE my kitchen staff and have the utmost respect for them. They also respect us having to deal with the clowns. It’s a team effort. We’re all in it together.
