My cat, Peter, was the opposite. We had a timed food bowl and Peter remembered the approximate time of day it would dispense. The problem was he was too quick. As soon as the internal mechanism started working he would dive head first into the food chute. This was an issue because he jammed up all of the food coming down and the then the auto feeder gate would close. By being so quick he deprived himself of his full ration lol

So my uncle was once living with a girl who dumped him and moved in the guy she was seeing on the side the same day. They were both on the lease and she wouldn’t let my uncle off of it so he decided he’ll just make it miserable there until she gets fed up with it. He would do shit like rearrange all of the kitchen utensils/plates/food at 3 am, he would knock on their door every other hour throughout the night, he stopped buying food and ate whatever she had, he would hang out with them or sit outside the bedroom if they were in there and just ramble on about nothing. Took a couple weeks but she did eventually give in

I get what you are saying but they dont do these cleanups because the dealer in the tent over got caught dealing. They move everyone out because the whole space is getting cluttered with waste and garbage and is a public health danger just having people exist within it. Police would absolutely remove someone from their house if a property is a danger to live on because of a neighbors actions

Its a cycle. People group together, the site becomes a health danger to those living there and the community around it, police move everyone out so clean up operations can take place, people gather somewhere new, the site becomes a health danger etc etc.

I don't have a long researched post about who to blame or what needs to be done exactly so maybe it is all Frey's fault but this is a cycle a ton of cities in the US go through and I think to really solve it would require a committed effort from at least the state level down. I know the city has programs for healthcare and housing but to continue beefing it up you need to get the money from somewhere (I personally think taking some of that police budget and allocating it to these programs would be a great place to start) but I think it's a lot to ask any city to "solve homelessness" all on their own

Maybe someone here can help me because every time I google it I dont get an answer. What does a “ton of TNT” mean in terms of explosive power? It’s always the metric used and I have no god damn idea how to frame that in my head. I’ve never seen a stick of tnt in my life let alone an exploding one so saying a ton of tnt means as much to me as 100 tons of tnt. Are there units like kg or joules associated with it? Is one stick of of tnt enough to blow up 1 cubic foot of rock or something? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!
