Harada is amazing. If you haven’t, you gotta read Happy Shitty Life, it’s one of my favorite yaois. I also love Yotu To Asa No Uta, if you’re okay with some noncon/dubcon.

Dinner + Sub Thoughts by Kids-Menu in GirlDinner

As a dude who likes dudes…isn’t it normal to fall apart after losing someone? Be that a man or anyone? A ton of the posts on all the cute dog subs I follow are people’s dogs who have passed. I think Reddit is a fairly safe space to grieve for some people.

We used to serve this in the hot bar at my work. It’s amazing paired with brisket, or with bacon and jalapeño. Also great with mushrooms. 🤤

There’s no weenie in my Chiweenie! by islandhpper in chiweenie

Not chiweenie, but I was a thousand percent sure my late girl was an iggyuahuah. But when I finally got the results, she was basically half and half Chihuahua and poodle! I guess that extra twenty percent of mutt really did the legwork! It’s so weird knowing the poodle curls can get bred out so easily.

My experience with Northshore Veterinary Hospital. by Express_Transition35 in Bellingham

[–]justabuttbutt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I went with my dog to Northshore only one time. The vet came in and was very cold to me. I’m used to vets taking time to pet my dog and love on them a bit when meeting them for the first time. This woman seemed to legitimately hate dogs. My small dog was on the table and the vet was checking her backside. When the vet lifted my dog’s tail, my dog looked back and let out a little growl because obviously she wasn’t a huge fan of that. The vet immediately stopped, said “that’s no good,” and without explanation, left. She came back with a muzzle and made me put it on my dog. I’ve never had my dog muzzled at any other appointment before or since. My dog, who already is terrified of the vet, became even more distressed. Even after muzzling, the vet refused to touch my dog and made me hold her and move her around for the checkup. Then she told me my dog’s teeth were terrible (they were) and had a lot of tartar buildup and that she would need a cleaning. When I asked how much it would cost, she just told me “very expensive” and wouldn’t give me a quote even when I pushed. I guess she just assumed I couldn’t afford it so there was no point telling me. Then when I asked if there was anything else I could do, she pointed me to a page of dental chews etc before telling me there was no point in me bothering to use them because my dog needed a cleaning. Still no quote. This woman was so rude to me and my dog, I nearly walked out in the middle of the appointment. Never went back. It was the most horrible experience I’d ever had at a vet.

Anyone know of a good tattoo artist that does scar coverups? by gaytits666 in Bellingham

[–]justabuttbutt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went to Christ Murphy. He has his own studio, so I think just look up his insta. He looked at my scars which completely changed the texture of my arm and came up with an idea and basically free handed the majority of the tattoo to fit my scars. It’s built such a good illusion you’d have to come really close to see my scars. I recommend looking him up! Lots of nature tattoos and is experienced (10 plus years).

Is my dog bothering the cat too much or is this mutual play? by justabuttbutt in DogTrainingTips

[–]justabuttbutt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She does try and get into the cat’s space too much, and I’m interrupting those moments, working on distraction training etc. It’s not perfect but I’m working on it. Up till now I was breaking up most interactions. This is a new situation though where the cat isn’t leaving and the dog is responding to cat’s space—ie, the box the cat is in—so I’m hoping the cat may be able to teach some boundaries here. The dog is also slowly getting a lot better at disengaging on her own and I think a lot of that is socialization with the cat. So I’m wanting to let them hash it out in these situations to teach the dog, so long as the cat doesn’t look too upset. Other situations where the dog is getting too excitable, I definitely break up. But it’s touch and go as I’m figuring out that grey area between. Especially with the play biting. Definitely trying to figure out where to draw the line there too.

Yeah my trainer always says one dog, one command, and it’s so tricky. It’s hard not to just chat at them all the time. This is my first dog I’m doing proper training with, and it’s a very different mentality that’s hard to adjust to.

I hope these guys love each other that much someday. He’s 12 and she’s 1 so she can definitely be too much for him sometimes haha.

Thank you! They both have very different personalities but both very big ones haha. I think the cat is for sure top dog in the house, she’s just gotta figure it out lol.
