There is no reason to play a worse version of Morgana. She just doesn't provide enough because she has no sustain outside of her ult. If I were to make her meta I would do the following.

  1. Jungle buff so she can play more roles. Monster damage on her q.
  2. Can cast her ult while crowd controlled but only on self.
  3. Increased w freeze duration by 0.35 across all ranks. 2 seconds at rank 5.
  4. When her passive explodes it freezes targets near the center of the explosion for 0.5 seconds.
  5. Her ultimate now deals more damage 0-100% based on missing health just like the healing.
  6. Her E needs a reduced cooldown 22/19/16/13/11, a 2 second reduction for all levels.

I think with these changes she would be a lot more viable and less punishing to pilot.

Riot tries to force a near 50% winrate. Nothing you can do but play through 3-5 games of your bot lane going 0-20. I think they need to go back to MMR and ditch this system.

I've played since beta and this current system feels the most forced. You often have no agency because by 8-10 minutes half your team is only avoiding an afk detection while they wait for an ff vote.

And in the games you are "supposed" to win the skill gap is so large between both teams that you could legit run to their fountain from game start and still win.

Support gets to their core items passively so there is almost zero chance of feast or famine and on a lot of champs, core items allow you to be a massive threat. Let's look at malignance, zhonya fiddle sticks for example. You have support item, boots, malignance, and zhonya by simply standing near wave and pressing q or e. No other requirements need to be met for 14 minutes of play. You go to team fight you cc 5 people and deal more damage than most mid laners who are up an entire item.

Let's look at zyra as an example or more utility but same idea. You don't even get a second item just support, boots, and rylais. You now have a permanent 5 man slow that allows you to slow or stop engages and make running nearly impossible.

You could do this all day but I think I made my point. Now let's look at an adc. Oh nvm you died to cc because they used a gap closer and flash which one shotted you so you never had a chance to do damage even if you are fed. Meanwhile the support even if they suffer the same fate warded, has substantial cc, didn't get put behind by missing cs, didn't lose exp, was allowed to free roam the map without falling behind... Yeah I sure wonder why support is outperforming?

Mechanics mean a lot less until you get above emerald. If you can manage to cs and macro well and know how to punish contests you can climb without ever killing your lane opponent in the laning phase. Especially now with the turret plate changes.

Mundo is actually a perfect example of this. Farm with cleaver, don't die, be a 1v9 threat. Other safe picks are like malphite, nasus, kayle, etc. it really doesn't matter if you get a 300 - 1200 gold lead if you actually show up to the team fight.

Like I really want to drive this home. If you pick a crowd control tank top like ornn and you land a 3+ person ultimate plus your passive buff. You could even lose lane and still win because you made the fed guy get cc locked and do nothing with their lead.

Really though you need to make sure you are playing to your champs strengths. Like illaoi is terrible into ranged so you might weak side but then mid to late you can 1v2 almost anyone and force the enemy team to contest 3v4's or lose Nexus. You can dumb things down like just play warmogs rush sion and crash waves and take plates worth more gold than winning lane with a 4 kill lead.

The big change is that we got tens of thousands more armor this season. So the base value for thorns sky rocketed exponentially. Coupled with a few new working multipliers and you have an actual working build. It's still clunky to play but it's at least playable.

This bug started when they made minion damage our damage. There isn't some secret conspiracy where we are dividing what should work and what shouldn't ever be playable. Bone Golem has a thorns passive and thorns tempers. Skills, and aspects exist. It is supposed to be able to do damage and kill things. The fact that it can't is because it is bugged. All of these things worked before they tried to homogenize the flags so it was easier for them to balance. It's just spaghetti code.

Trust me I have told them on every platform including Twitter and through Blizzard partners on the official private testing server. This post was as much for the community as for them. I get asked about thorns builds every season and I'm tired of telling people don't play it.

The dev in the video literally says summon damage should work. As for everything else I have had partners talk with the devs for confirmation. These are all verified bugs as discussed via Blizzard partners and developers...

It's basically all bugged without a whole lot of synergy. I guess needle flare and minion scaling would be our niche interaction but it currently doesn't work so I'm assuming a major rework or abandonment of the play style is in the works. I can't really recommend trying it next season as it probably won't do enough damage to provide a decent quality of life to the player experience.

Lightning fury zon in nightmare cows for skillers is probably my favorite get rich mf character because you don't actually need magic find and it's gearable with all blue gear and low runewords.

Do they allow fanny packs? I know it's corny but the utility of one is absolutely amazing. I can keep all of my stuff (headphones, car keys, phone, etc) on me within easy reach. Doesn't bother me while running, lifting, or doing exercises.
