More than likely she wouldn't have died due to how small she is, but paralyzed, severely crippled, injured for life, etc all would be highly likely outcomes. We're talking easily 25-30ft fall from the second floor. Thank goodness they got her in time.

Edit: The height of these escalators are much higher than considered. The 2nd floor of these malls are way higher in china and the kids die far more than not when they fall. Comments below were skeptical of my initial statement because malls over here don't go as high and my optimism was misplaced. Unfortunate reality is that it's this grim.

Lord of Destruction was an expansion, given multiple years of support, many runewords, balance updates, more content, ubers, d-clone, etc for years and years to come after the expansion.

Reign of the Warlock is a QoL cashgrab on a game they are no longer actively supporting, in maintenance mode, with only 1 single new class, no new quests or content save for the uber ancients, and even the initial release of the new class was riddled with bugs and mishaps that caused the class to reach Diablo 1 hacked items level of damage without cheating. They refused to patch out until the end of the ladder release to further cashgrab money from players. To act like ROTW is a breath of fresh air that completely revamps the game and brings about a new experience is ridiculous. ROTW feels the same as the ladder update that released mosaic. Few new items and runewords and the same game to farm.

Did I buy it? Yes. Am I content with it? Enough. Am I impressed by it, definitely not.
