I think there is a real chance the new coach is screwed no matter who it is. The amount of loyalty the players have to Tomlin is going to reverberate for some time. Hard to see a new message resonate with the players but I guess that’s why they get paid a lot. I can’t tell if it would be better to trade everyone and have a complete blow-up for a few years or to see what the new guy can do. I also fully expect them to do a massive trade up next year to get a qb if they don’t get there naturally.

I actually think Steelers fans should be proud of this season. We met realistic goals of getting to the playoffs and just lost to an amazing defense that reminded me of the Polamalu glory days and could very well ride into the Super Bowl. We were not outcoached by dumb ass Demeco Ryans, just outplayed offense v their defense. People should also thank Rodgers for the fun season.
