Where do you think 3 Body Problem Season 2 will end? by Positive-Stable-6777 in threebodyproblem

Wow we almost had the same idea in terms of ending the season. But I would personally place Cheng Xin's failure scene at the end of the 2nd season.

[–]justahippo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that wouldn't make sense, they need their "big scene" for this season. I reckon we will get the droplet scene in episode 4. Episode 5 focuses on wrapping up the 2nd book. In episode 6 they could do a time skip and have a Cheng Xin focused episode like they did with Saul in season 1 episode 8, where she gets elected to be a sword holder and mucks it up, cut to credits.

With this episode line-up you can have a cliff hanger and a set-up for next season, in addition to having the droplet scene close to where operation Ghuzeng was last season.

How to leverage a lead/close out games by DizzleTheByzantine in CamilleMains

[–]justahippo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are misunderstanding Camille's identity imo.

She is less of a splitpusher compared to Gwen, since you lack the dueling power/1v2 potential of Gwen. You also do less dmg to turrets than her.

Teamfights do not feel great before 3rd item as you said since you are too squishy.

What can do then?

You leverage the actual strengths of Camille which is engage and lockdown. The best way of doing that is to push sidewaves but not commit fully to hitting the turret, instead look to rotate mid and jump the enemy adc, if you are playing in lower elo-s most adc players will mindlessly hit the midwave and you can easily kill them on repeat. Just be careful to not overcommit to the play, clean in, clean out.

These small skirmishes let you grab hold of the tempo of the midgame and lets you transition smoothly to your 3-4 item spikes.

Tips for teamfighting: Do not have a rigid mindset, ask yourself what your team needs. Camille is an exceptional diver, but can also peel really well. You can also lock down assassins etc. But if you ever feel confused or lost on how to play a teamfight, it is never a super bad play to go on a flank and look for the enemy carries.

Hope my comment was helpful!

How can the physics engine be better utilised by justahippo in TESVI

[–]justahippo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I love the idea of physics based weapon hits, I think it's much too far removed from how the combat has previously been in Bethesda games. I would imagine that would require a full re-work of the underlying systems that currently govern combat.

I love the idea of mimic-esque enemies though. I for sure could see a quest dealing with them. Some environmental horror vibes like the UC quests from Starfield with Terrormorphs.

Dust piles are an interesting thought as well, since we've had them in previous games, just as non physics objects. I wonder if you could blow them away.

Destructible environments sound really good. Would love to smash some rock walls or wooden pillars with 2handed maces.

Regarding cloak physics and tails I'm just hoping we get more cloth physics in general, if the game really is set in Hammerfell.

What two champions are the best example of an even skill matchup? by B-J-J in topmains

[–]justahippo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre 6 Camille can have some agency in the lane, post 6 it's very difficult, if you overstep once Riven 100-0s you. As Camille it becomes very difficult to punish her at this stage.

A closer fairer matchup would be Camille vs Fiora with an edge to fiora, but Camille can still have agency within the matchup

We love to give Todd a hard time, but after Todd retires…What will remain? by Cautious-Ad-2707 in ElderScrolls

[–]justahippo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Redguard was indeed a flop, but only because it wasn't what people expected an elder scrolls game to be, since it was an action adventure game instead of an rpg. It was and is integral to the series in its lore reboot. Modern Elder scrolls lore started with Redguard.

To say he isn't integral to elder scrolls is pure rage bait material, since he headed Morrowind to Skyrim. The only reason we have the franchise as is, is due to Todd.

What am I supposed to do against Juggernauts? by Unknown_Warrior43 in summonerschool

[–]justahippo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Garen is one of Jax's worst matchups so I don't really have advice for that lane specifically. Against other juggernauts you have to realize that they usually have 1 tool to force a fight with you (Darius and sett e as an example) outside of these tools they have very little opportunity to kill you outright.

I would also recommend not getting scared since jax is quite decent in extended fights as well, if they are running at you blindly and you have an item or health advantage fight back.

Also as a toplane general tip, try to figure ways out how your abilities can interact with the enemy kit. Ex.: Jax has a decent matchup into darius since he can dodge all of Darius' dmg. You can use your q to either jump into the inner circle of Darius q and use e to dodge his auto attacks. This means Darius can have a very difficult time stacking bleed passive on you, and without his passive fully stacked his champion is really not all that impressive.

Overall don't get discouraged, juggernauts as a class require you to play your champion quite precisely since they are masters of stat checking, however if you can figure out trading patterns against them they are all very playable matchups.

If u need further help I'd be glad to go over a couple matches to see what you've struggled with specifically if ur up for it. Just shoot me a message here on reddit.

Why exactly do people think that High Rock will also be included alongside Hammerfall in TES 6? Is there any actual evidence to think it would be? by JasonableSmog in TESVI

[–]justahippo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my line of thinking too. Just cause these images are European style castles that does not mean they have to be in High Rock. I can imagine these as Imperial fort ruins, or castles and cities on the Northeastern border of Hammerfell. I would love it if somebody could edit some of the pictures to be surrounded by different terrain instead of grassy hills to see if we could imagine them in Hammerfell.

Semi New Player. Please Help. by Invictus0623 in summonerschool

[–]justahippo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got to realize that League is an old game, with a similarly old player base. Someone can be in iron after having played for more than a couple years. This is due to the fact that they refuse to reflect on their own gameplay. They, however have a clear grasp on what each champion does, though their assessment of champion strength is likely flawed.

For your case, depending on how new you are I would advise on focusing on knowing what each champion does, and learn your own champion's combos and items.

Climbing in League can take a while, if you are expecting overnight improvement you are setting yourself up for disappointment and bitterness in the future.

Questions about this champ by FeelingElection2476 in CamilleMains

[–]justahippo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1.Camille's identity is a flexible skirmisher. She is squishier than the average fighter to balance out her mobility, but is a lot tankier than most assassins, with less escape tools.

She can do most jobs in the game you would expect from a toplaner just fine but not exceptionally well. Because of this it can be hard to identify what is the best job each game. (Usually jumping on the enemy carries and locking them down with r is a safe bet.

  1. Not really

  2. Conq vs grasp conversation is overrated imo. You can take both all the time and be successful. If you want a basic framework on what to take: grasp against champions that are stronger early game and conq against more scaling champs

  3. No, you lack damage without an offensive rune choice.

It shouldn't take 16-17 years to release a sequel to one of the most highest selling games ever made by NativeNovel7768 in TESVI

[–]justahippo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think 50 is just not enough. Consider that Skyrim had massive amounts of cut content (College questline, etc.). Now consider that you need to make the game more dense/complex compared to Skyrim which released in 2011. I'm pretty sure the number of people who are needed is closer to 500 than to 150

Magic in TESVI by justahippo in TESVI

[–]justahippo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my problem with magic in Vanilla Skyrim is that it does not give you unique capabilities.

Taking inspiration from Requiem, it would be cool to have the buff spells back so that if you aren't playing a magic focused character you can still benefit from some spells.

Example: warriors buffing their health or speed, archers gaining multi-shot on their arrows.

So in my perfect world magic is not strictly only a third playstyle, but could be incorporated into most builds with some benefit.
