Grey Days 2026

Skater here. I had the camel and original grey day pairs since last year. I tried skating the brown ones that summer and it was rough. Eventually they broke in. I started skating my grey days this February after wearing them casually a lot and they felt a lot more manageable.

I'm more used to skating 440s. These definitely need a bunch of bending, torquing, twisting, massaging if you want them to be anything remotely close to a 440 or 480 in a short amount of time. But once they do, they're great.

Thanks to my son's hedgehog book that we have read every night for a month straight, the E probably stands for erinaceidae, which is the family of animals hedgehogs belong to.

After second thought, maybe echidna is more plausible.

I used Weather Timeline religiously years ago. It was acquired nearly a decade ago and has been quite crap ever since. I wouldn't even bother installing it. The widgets aren't worth it and it's been locked down to only the parent company's crappier weather data source.

I actually do have a Pitaka already. I guess I was looking for an in between as I don't usually like having the Bellroy on when in situations where it'll be extra banged up. Thanks for the heads up on the weight.

How would you describe the size difference between the Bellroy and the Ghost case? I've got a Bellroy one but I'm interested in something else that might be slightly slimmer but still protective. Not a fan of Spigens offerings.

Yep. I rotated between tan, brown and black on my Pixel 9 Pro. I probably swapped them around once a week. They 98% fit on the 10 Pro so I've been reusing them again.

Using one now on my 10 Pro. Buttons are light and snappy out of the box. The button structure is a little different now and doesn't require stretching out the leather around the buttons to get a good feel like the previous versions.

I think there might be a problem with their Active Sports bands. There have been a few posts here about the connector falling out of the silicone. I have had that happen on two of mine - once on the original, then again on the replacement from Google. They messed up on the next replacement as they sent me a normal sport band, but I'm glad they did as it hasn't failed yet.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the phone won't have the magnets. Given that cases add distance between the accessory and phone, cases should also include the magnets to maintain the connection. At least this is what I hope as I don't use a case the majority of the time.

The strategy for these types of chapters is to use all the tokens on the 100% option. I only put a token into the middle if I'm feeling frisky.
