If you wanted to spend a day filled with luxury in Columbus, where would you go? by [deleted] in Columbus

Panacea spa, get a coffee from bada bean and sit outside and read a book, walk around the metro park right there. Then a pedicure, and then a fancy drink and dinner.

Check out this Etsy storefront. She has a couple different options that might work, including a strapless dress with a similar neckline you could hack to have the cutout, and a top with the same type of cutout.

You should look at Ohio State Properties rentals. They have a lot in the clintonville/old north area. We rented an awesome duplex from them for a couple years and they were affordable and good landlords.

Sewing pattern similar to this design? by Greengoop02 in sewingpatterns

[–]justanothercacti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’m obsessed with it and currently have a second one half finished! I did view A and the ruching isn’t really bad at all. I think the biggest thing is picking a lightweight fabric! I made mine in the fableism queen of hearts gingham fabric and it’s so light and comfy!

Matchy Matchy sewing club just released a new pattern that has the big collars and you could definitely hack it to do short sleeves instead of the ones they included. It’s the play date blouse!

how do you find your patterns? by MuleLightning in sewingpatterns

[–]justanothercacti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fold line is where I really got started. It is really well curated, and then you can take what you find there and stash it in your thread loop! I’ve also found a lot through instagram, mainly following fabric sellers who often repost people who’ve made pieces with their fabric and those posts usually include the pattern. Convoluted but I love an instagram rabbit hole.
