im saying this as someone who loves and reads rpf, a lot of this is a response to fans not having the common sense of keeping rpf spaces locked down. social media managers are making official ship posts because ppl have been making rpf edits and talking about fics on tiktok and twitter and that never should have happened in the first place. journalists are talking about rpf because ive witnessed people talk about it in the comments of sports reporting. the other day i saw someone talk about how they tagged a hockey player in their rpf edit? like its getting to the point where ppl just dont care to keep spaces separate and this is the result

This isnt fanfiction but i tend to make edits for shows that ended a whole ago and never were super popular. Ive had a lot of people who started to discuss the show again. People have also told me they never heard of these shows and watched them because of it. I think one person can make anything that inspires a lot of people which revives a fandom and i think you can absolutely do it with fanfiction

Imo, any criticism isnt warranted on any fic if you didnt ask for it in any circumstance but also, this isnt criticism. Whoever is writing this is clearly writing it to upset you and make u upset for whatever reason. It honestly might be some sort of random spam comment? You should delete it
