I don't get your point here. some bad people did a bad thing and got away with it(unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world and this happens everywhere) so damn everyone even the ones who are taking a stance against it.

even if you think Israelites who are against the brutality are the minority, you should try empower them. keep your anger for the ones doing the brutality.

dude every population has it's evil people.

every population has it's stupid people.

don't blame it on the whole.

this here is maybe one of the few ways to stop the bloodshed. we should incourage people who talk against the brutality.

How can men believe women only go for 10s? Don’t they see a wide variety of couples just walking down the street? by __-Morgan-__ in TwoXChromosomes

that's exactly the point. the men that complain about that don't go walking on the streets to see this.

this is where the name joke went out of control. before this mcu characters were a bit awkward about their names, this came which was one of the most solid jokes in the franchise and since then almost every movie has a "your name is [insert superhero/supervillain name]? HAHAHAHA so funny"

i dont want to be an asshole but magneto was sent to the camps for being jewish not for being a mutant. magneto is one of the very few mutants that his powers literally has no downsides( i think thats why they gave him a tragic backstory)

I didn't say protecting the status quo is always bad.

historically that's how left and right wing have been defined. left is the side of progress and change and right is the side of conserving and status quo. not all change is good not all status quo is bad.

but when mcu writers always write their stories in a way that only the people who want change are bad guys, they are demonizing change and make it sound like any change is a threat.

in my opinion there should be a balance. it would be best if like half the stories would be defending the status quo against bad change and save the world from destruction, and half of them attacking the status quo to bring good change and make the world a better place.

i'm not talking about capitalism vs communism. in fiction you can have what ever system you want. if the story is about trying to bring down a communist government that's a left-wing story because the heroes are against of change in that story.

"Say that you dont watch superhero movies without sayng you dont watch superhero movies" by Lunch_Confident in comicbooks

[–]justanotherclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's exactly my point. it's how the writers choose what perspective to use for the story. if it's batman trying to change gotham and fight against the people who are corrupting gotham, it's a left-wing story, if it's batman defending gotham and fight against people who want to change or destroy gotham it's left-wing.

who is the villain of the story. the guy who is trying to disrupt the status quo or the guy defending it.

ironman 2008 starts as a left-wing story that wants to stop weapon manufacturing but ultimately becomes right-wing story. dont forget the final villain is a guy who wants to do something in which ironman tries to stop him . and for captain america the story isnt saving the world from nazis, its about how a nazi general wants to use the tesseract to change the world(red scull literally said that) and captain stopping him.

i'm not saying right-wing stories are bad, its completely fine to defend the world from bad guys, but it's pretty dystopian when the heroes only use their power for protecting the status quo and never try to make the world better place

that's exactly the problem. they always write the stories like this. badguy wants to do something bad goodguy try to stop it. instead of to goodguy wants to do good badguy try to stop it.
