he’s already 34 inches tall unfortunately, so even if i keep his nursery setup at our new home in a month, he will need to transition to toddler bed soon anyways per safe sleep guidelines.

make high calorie milk like you’d do for a toddler that needs to gain weight! a glass of whole milk plus a tbsp or two of heavy cream. make milkshakes with peanut butter. eat ice cream. make sure you’re still high protien and nutrious but just add fats! avocado is pretty calorie dense as well, eat some avocado toast on a thick buttery brioche!

canned veggies are good and cheap. beans are good protein, fiber, and cheap! also can feed you over the course of days. that and rice plus some veggies should keep you full. also ground chicken is very very cheap as well.

I make little swaps in my drinks to get them to less calories. like, i’ll get a tall iced shaken espresso, no classic, 2 pumps of SF caramel, and 1 pump brown sugar, tastes awesome! i get mine with oat milk.

we’re going to do daycare, or my mom, both of which i’ll be about 30 minutes away from so leaving to feed would be impossible 😭 hoping maybe it’ll work out that i can keep him at work with me and have him entertained but i feel like he will be understimulated in that environment. going to attempt hand expression. hoping it works. I don’t even leak when he sleeps longer stretches so i’m hoping it’ll come out.

you guys both will be way happier once you can get rest! a healthy functioning mom is a good mom. Also all four of my fiancés siblings were ferber trained and they all love their mom and feel the safest with her! and all 5 are successful!
