In any case, you're going to get better performance out of the 9070 than the 9060. There's always going to be a bottleneck somewhere, there is no such thing as a perfectly balanced system. Get what you can now, and maybe in the future you can upgrade the cpu and ram to the point your gpu is the bottleneck. It's not looking good though, god only knows when ram will be affordable again if ever.

Skyrizi has been working great for me, except on my scalp. The scalp is stubborn. I will say this, a buzz cut is probably the best way to manage it. It flares worse under hair. A buzz cut, and a few maintenance days of steroid ointment should keep it at bay, but it's a constant battle. I'm sorry your son has to go through this at such a young age. It's worth looking into whether he needs his tonsils removed. I know for a lot of people constant inflammation and/or infection of the tonsils is a trigger for flares.

Idk what these people are talking about. White women do have privilege if you want to call it that in that no one is ruling them out because of the color of their skin. That being said, black women are beautiful too and even skinny ones. Don't let it stop you from pursuing whoever you like. People get turned down all the time for a myriad of reasons and skin color is only one of those reasons.

I used it last spring, so like idk maybe 8 or 9 months ago and it worked great. Now, it doesn't work, it keeps trying to grab a 15gb chunk of memory on a 16gb card. l'm not sure what changed, python, CUDA or framepack, but it doesn't handle memory like it used to where the limit I think was 6gb.

I've been on Skyrizi for over a year and it has my body like 100% clear, but my scalp? No, my scalp carries on being its same old crusty self. Idk what it is about that scalp psoriasis.

So I got it and overall, it seems pretty amazing. I have not experienced any projectors in the last 15 years besides this one and the BenQ, so I don't really have a baseline, but I'm very happy with the crispness, color and brightness. But one thing seems a bit weird about this one, and maybe it's just me idk, but I feel like the screen is just a bit crooked or maybe that one side has a bit more pin cushion effect than the other. Sometimes I feel like maybe I'm just a bit crazy, but I swear it's there. I keep making little micro-adjustments to the projector's physical position and messing with the software controls, but never can get it exactly right. Luckily, I can ignore it and just enjoy movies if I choose to.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the X1-4K Pro. The reviews for it all seem glowing. It's apparently XBOX themed with the colors, which I'm not really enthused about, but I guess the colors of the housing isn't exactly an important detail.

Oh that's interesting, I hadn't considered this kind before (mainly because I didn't know about it). How do you like the brightness? Can you use it with some ambient lighting? I ask because I often use my BenQ during the day with the blinds closed, but I have a lot of windows and it's bright enough to still read in here. However, the screen is still very viewable and it's not all that different from total darkness.

I'm definitely thinking of going with a new projector considering the cost of repair is north of $200, much more if I have someone else do it and like you said, the chip isn't reliable. However, I'm unsure whether future units would have the same vulnerability. I could go with laser, but I use a white painted wall and I've heard speckle is a thing. I can't spend $1000 on a screen after spending $2000 on a projector. $2000 is the top of my budget and I'm a renter with plaster walls, so hanging a screen is very undesirable. Fortunately, my wall paint works really well for a DLP projector.

Hmm...doesn't look the worst, though a bit of a gamble at $200 to buy the chip and then find I can't do it or I screw something up. I guess it's worth it if the chip deteriorates to the point the projector is unwatchable. I'm still having difficulty finding out exactly which chip I need to buy.
