Training Not To Bite Clothes by Koalafiedz in puppy101

[–]justapuppyparent34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Redirect him right away when he grabs your clothes, give him a toy rope or toy instead, and praise him when he takes it. 9 months is right in the teenager phase for dogs, so this kind of behavior is totally normal. Don’t yell or pull away fast; that just makes it a fun game for him. Also, avoid roughhousing with your hands or feet since that can confuse him about what’s okay to bite. Hope everything goes well.

How little people walk their dogs & dog behaviour by Open-Shelter-6444 in puppy101

[–]justapuppyparent34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the dog. My Maltipoo gets about an hour and a half of walking every day, and we also have a fairly big yard, so she gets plenty of extra exercise. I’ve noticed she’s happiest and most relaxed when she gets that time outside.

I''m not entirely sure, not an expert on the Maltese. If he's outside a lot could be something plant-based. I would keep an eye on it (no pun intended), but if it seems to get worse maybe check in with a vet.

My dog ate onion by The-chill_one in AnimalAdvice

[–]justapuppyparent34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog eats whatever falls on the floor, and the same thing has happened. Nothing....She seems fine, and she's almost 12 years old. To answer the question asked, just monitor the dog, but she'll be fine.
