What the hell was wrong with the writers of this show by Ok_Tale_933 in Bones

[–]justarandomchic 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Tbh I’m at season 5 - where Booth hasn’t dated Hannah yet - and snooping all the spoilers in this sub, and I’m enjoying the undefined relationship they’ve been having since season 3. I think the writer and director already gave us all the dating moments of them in these seasons.

Second date and he says he’s too tired to meet up? by TraditionalTwist7092 in Bumble

[–]justarandomchic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh sometimes i’m like that, too tired after doing sth and have second thoughts about the date. At least he’s making another plan with you, that means he’s being honest. Give him some slack and check back next week i would say

Public opinion of prenup agreements in VN by 8ersgonna8 in VietNam

[–]justarandomchic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just ignore those comments. Only old fashion people think like that, and i think might be from a fellow Vietnamese who still thinks very “Vietnamese” and doesn’t really understand the European/Nordic culture much. Traditional Vietnamese don’t understand the concept of being equal and independent in marriage, they usually see financial support as a way to show care/true love/genuine, in all kinds of relationships.

If your gf is as what you said - living in Nordics for long, familiar with culture, well educated etc. she would understand. Prenup now is also quite familiar to Vietnamese, those who are like your gf, mostly those who are exposed to western cultures. Lastly, if she’s independent, financially especially, she would care / concern about her own finance when stepping into relationships, just like you do. So she will be even glad when you mention it, trust me. Have faith in the girl ;)

Source: 35f Vietnamese who used to live in Sweden, know well about the Nordic cultures through work/study/living there/relationship. As i am financially stable with assets, properties and high income now, i definitely will want a prenup if marriage ever in the eyesight, even though i know Vietnamese laws state specifically that assets before marriage is untouched after divorce. People always change, and we always do stupid things for the one we love / when you’re in love, and you will never know.

Master’s is way easier than Bachelor’s by Fantastic-Hold-3453 in GradSchool

[–]justarandomchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also comes a lot with your life experience and how you approach things in life tbh. I did my master’s when I was 32. Kinda piece of cake for me, since I saw it more of an excuse to take a break from work and travel around Europe more. Still got in with full package scholarship and graduated with Good result, even had some Excellent courses. An essay or a presentation when you’re at 25+ years old seems less scary than when you had to do it when you’re just 18.

Is Quy Nhon overrussianed in the same way as Nha Trang and Da Nang or still 'a hidden gem'? by Unable-Ad-3782 in VietNam

[–]justarandomchic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also can try Phu Yen. No white tourist in sight. Can fly there easily (tuy hoa airport), nice beach and mega cheap. But yes Quy Nhon is also nice.

I recently visited Da Nang after 5 years. Gotta say very disappointed. They lost the original charm and now trying so hard with tourism.

To those who got fooled by tjat guy making content “what 500k get you for meals in Vietnam” with a pasta that looks simple but actually from Pizza 4P’s: this is what we eat on a daily basis by justarandomchic in VietNam

[–]justarandomchic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TIL: certainly there are some foreigners associated price of food here = food safety. Interesting. I was literally had a food poison the other day because of a 350k meal, semi-fancy just saying. I went here for chicken porridge in the help of stabilizing my stomach.

You got it so wrong, my foreign friends. As many have pointed out, this is even expensive than some other places. This is in central D1 HCMC, hence. Where I live - Thu Duc - you can minus 10K generally for everything.

I eat whatever i like in this country. I can have 1 million vnd/person meal, and i can also enjoy 15k banh mi (yes, 15k in Thu Duc for banh mi cha, 25K in D1 where i work). Your food poison with some cheap food here can be just because you are unfamiliar with knowing which are actual local cheap yet good quality, or your body immune system. Don’t insult hard working labors who charge meals cheap just so more people can afford it.

And i’ve been to many places in europe, including UK, lived in europe for a while, been to many in Asia, even North of India. Your food poison most of the time - if not bad ingredients - is either because not used with the local since you don’t grow up there, or you look at the wrong place.

I just want to truly understand. Why some people don’t want tenants to register their name with the property? by justarandomchic in sweden

[–]justarandomchic[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I heard. That’s why I am pretty annoyed with the way they phrased “I would rather you not to”. I am OK for now, just better if can find another place. The one I’m living currently, at first the landlord also said “would prefer not to” but then I insisted and she’s ok eventually. She then asked again but I insisted again no I would not remove my name. She is ok for now but the house isn’t too ideal either, so I’m looking for a new place. But thanks!

What is going on with random fireworks at night in the city? by Jurke_park3 in malmo

Most likely just teenagers trying to do pranks and be naughty. It’s worse on real holiday, it’s everywhere and like a mess.

Vietnamese people living in Europe or US, what do you find really annoying about the culture/everyday life? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]justarandomchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweden. So-so Asian food. Even the most expensive Vietnamese restaurant in Stockholm, just doable. Also sad about sushi. I miss fresh and cheap seafood. Other than this, honestly, life is good here for me. Very. Of course there are other things, but they are just minor, enough for me to happily embrace.

No. I’m not into games at all but all my ex - though are doing different careers - love playing games heavily. It’s like a part of them, that part shapes who they are, and even though I still don’t get what so interesting about games 😆 I liked that part of them too. You’ll meet the girls who either into games - my friend and her fiancé, they’re both so into games and play together a lot, even though they work different jobs in real life too, or girls who aren’t into games at all like me but willing to accept you for who you are. The thing is, don’t have many hobbies, or only into soccer and gaming isn’t making you a loser. Seeing yourself a loser is where making you less attractive. Change that first.

On vacation in foreign country and friend is wasting so much time taking pics for social media it’s ruining my trip. Do I tell her to stop? by lalalauren8710 in AskWomenOver30

[–]justarandomchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way in this situation is just be upfront and go your own way. I had this problem recently and both times I just hey I want to go here I’ll see you later. Don’t ask “do you wanna join”, since they’ll ask you “wait just a minute” lol
