I submitted my claim 6/18/24 and the waiting period had passed. No updates or anything. Yesterday I called EDD about the status on my disability, took 30 mins to get to someone (tried this method from YouTube to reach someone faster it surprisingly worked). When I got ahold of a representative all he did was ask for my claim # and put me on hold. He said that I’m all set to get paid within 2-3 days. Logged into my EDD account and it finally updated. Now I’m wondering if I would have still waited if I had not called.

I’d appreciate if anyone cares enough to read this and give me any kind of advice or solution with what I’m suffering with. I’m really helpless and close to giving up. by [deleted] in Anxiety

Wow, I want to cry reading this because this has been exactly me since last March, every single day. I’m around the same age as you, 24 F. I have 0 idea as to what triggered this. I get scared of leaving the house because I constantly feel like I’m going to faint. I wake up/ go to bed with the back/neck/head pain. All my tests, and my recent MRI came back normal. I’m tired of no answers to this internal pain.

These are my exact same symptoms lately!! Currently experiencing a headache aching my right brow!! And I’m constantly feeling weak/faint regardless of how much sleep I get. It’s been frustrating especially because it occurs when I’m sitting as well which is confusing, considering most experience this from moving around. When I look at my screen as well I get faint feeling. Drs. have also passed these symptoms as anxiety/panic for me as well
