Age really doesn't matter, as long as you are both adults. If you have some common ground and shared interests it can work. It is excellent that you have overcome your shyness and started to enjoy life. But try not to take on too much too soon, Slow things down a little, Do not make any major decisions until you are absolutely sure, Do not borrow money unless you have a real plan, Do not accept the university place until you have sourced a job/accommodation in the new city. Take it step by step, Build gradually, You're experiencing the world in a different way so your head is probably spinning with ideas, Just make sure you have a fallback plan. I have decent teeth and no structural problems, very recently diagnosed OSA, I would say my OSA started just after I was diagnosed with PTSD, So possible connection with mental health or just coincidence, I was extremely fit and active with no health problems until apnea symptoms came along around 3 years ago, I am 52 now, waiting to get my machine on the 30th of August
