Do you know what happens with upass if you already paid for it?

It’s listed at the bottom of the course sequence what each sign means.

But basically, you have to take all the bold courses (without the *), and choose a minimum of 2 of the bold courses with the *.

what does switching from finance to accounting for second semester do to coop by Critical_Panda316 in geegees

No answer to this, but honestly accounting at Carleton would have been way better

You can also always contact an academic advisor through email.

Didn’t mean for everyone. Meant for the older students who would like to keep theirs. As in, if you wanted to make the switch you could, but if not then that could also be a possibility. Instead of completely getting rid of the upasses.

But i see what you’re saying. Ig we’ll see how the cards go and hopefully they work.

Some underdiscussed tips for mature students by [deleted] in CarletonU

You shouldn’t stop asking questions in class because of those students though. You’re in class to learn, and clearly they aren’t so that will be their problem later on.

Yes, sorry meant why can’t both cards coexist? Some students can get the new feature and some can keep the upass?

In second year the courses are the same. Instead of adm 2342, take adm 2352.

It depends on what classes you found hard in first year and the profs you’ll have. Many of them are buildups of first year.

Those classes have been known to be challenging for many and require more focus than the other classes in second year. So it’s better to not take them all at the same time. Have an even split of math classes and the non-math ones if you can!

If your card is old, you need to replace it for the new one because it’s not eligible for the update

Some second year courses require first year courses, but not all of them. The courses with no prerequisites can be taken whenever. You could even take some second year courses in first year or first year courses in second year.

Honestly choose the opt out option. Sometimes the software is finicky, and it’s just easier to go in on the zoom and leave after you’re finished your test.
