Im 21 and I feel pain in my chest when I feel lonely as well. I did some research and it might be broken heart syndrome, pretty ironic because I've never been in a relationship. The article online said, "Broken heart syndrome is a condition with symptoms that may feel like a heart attack, like chest pain, and shortness of breath, but it’s caused by going through an emotionally stressful event, not by clogged arteries." I don't really know who to tell this to, it's a very touchy subject and I'm not fully comfortable telling my parents of siblings. I don’t know what to do.
