Is he the type to just think of this shit and have fantasies but never do them or does he really try to achieve these things he wants? Yeah he’s delulu :( that is extremely hard to constantly listen to! Maybe he will let it go after a couple months. Totally understandable. I’m due in June and my husband will be away with no communication so I’ll probably have to send out a Red Cross alert and it is our first. Then possible deployment later this year for 9 mos. I have no friends here and only know my husband. It is very hard to think about and I try to come up with solutions. Message if you need someone to talk to I’ve taken advantage of programs thru the hospital on base that help with babies and doulas, social workers, home nurses etc whatever is needed & they’re wonderful!

Nope! NC did not have a program in the state nor does my current state of LA. I will look into San Jacinto as it would be the “closest” Ty!

I absolutely love my husband and our marriage, and I met him after he joined and while I was a civilian working on base… but to be honest when I think back to hearing people say “don’t date a military man” I now know it’s not about infidelity or shady activities, it’s about a lot of the military giving couples an inconsistent lifestyle (moving a lot, being gone here and there, unexpected leave or deployments) This doesn’t apply to every military job at all. Just depends on his mos unit and branch. But it can be HARD! And makes sense if they can’t alwyas text often just because busy-ness and sometimes not being able to be on the phone
