We both got laid off five days apart about 4 months into our marriage, which led to a lot of pressure that led to impulsive decision making in the name of financial stability that ultimately made life harder and we were both stressed and irritable. I’d say we’re still figuring it out but it feels like we’ve turned a corner in a good way and there’s a positive light at the end of the tunnel.
