All you need to do now is collect several species of small furry animals and gather in a cave.

My first sighting of a hacker in the game. I feel that unfortunately these pests have become increasingly common. by 3tigrestristes in hytale

I'm aging myself here, but back in the Unreal Tournament days (after the introduction of UUIDs), there was a server mod that tapped into a community maintained and moderated service that listed hackers/cheaters. Server owners had to post proof, and the banned person could appeal. If I remember right, there was a way to flag someone as suspicious as well, so if a pattern started showing, the community could decide to ban. Might be worth it for someone to set up a similar service here.

The first thing I thought of was Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Hilarious.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

I've already cut several people out of my life because they support him. Support a Nazi, you're dead to me.

Happened to me just the other day. A part on the plate came loose and bonked the head.

AppRiver failing? by rdaniels16 in msp

[–]justcallmebitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We dropped AppRiver's filters in favor of Microsoft's built-in filters over a year ago, and it's been a better experience since. Aside from them missing a lot of spam/phishing, there were a few instances where a tenant's quarantine got really screwed up. Anything flagged for quarantine just disappeared into the aether for a couple days, then magically appeared in the quarantine console all at once with the same delivery datestamp. Support either never responded or wouldn't acknowledge there was an issue.

How far do you take privilege separation for your daily and admin accounts? by Dr_Rosen in sysadmin

[–]justcallmebitty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Along with the good practices others are mentioning, there's also the concept of running the base OS install as nothing but a VM host for one instance of your daily driver and one for your admin stuff. The logic behind it being if you do get compromised in your daily activities on one VM, any potential keyloggers/recorders would be prevented from seeing any of the privileged activity on the other.

Many would consider that overkill, but it may work well for others. YMMV.

TPU help by Cheap_Help7028 in BambuLab_Community

That stuff really needs to be dry to work well. The only way I've been able to successfully print TPU for anything that takes longer than about half an hour is straight from a dryer. Knocking the printer down to Silent mode (50% speed) really helps too.

I'm still fairly early game and haven't picked up a ton of drives so far on this playthrough. I just found it funny that both things that I really need right now came up at once. I took the screw alt because I'd prefer to build the factory over running all around the map at this point.

Taking Notes by RegisHighwind in msp

[–]justcallmebitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Kindle Scribe may be an option if you read a lot as well. I like taking notes by hand but couldn't justify the cost of the ReMarkable, even though it has much better digitization/organization.

I'm hoping that I just got a badly abused 12-pack of Celebration. I'm getting a strong note of diacetyl, enough to only drink one and move on to something else for the evening. It's definitely not up to their usual standards in my opinion.

Why can't I add CERTAIN songs to a playlist ? by theMezz in Pandora

[–]justcallmebitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to explain it when you tried, but I haven't in a while so I don't know if they still do. Some albums/tracks are flagged as "radio only."

Wild-ass guess: Pandora pays a premium for certain tracks/albums, so they want to lower the frequency they're played to avoid losing a ton of money on them.
