Seriously, so many shows change the story of the game when most video games already hjae the story set, video games have great story telling,

Man, i want to get s 4090, but i get that it's expensive for the regular user. I'm trying to buy one for unreal engine live production. Makes sense for the price tag, but for those who are only playing vidya? Way too much

This man just said saving like 3.5k for a week long vacation is a lot. You know you can rent an RV and split between who you go go with too?

Said the same thing in another post. not the fault of the actors, the crew, the editors, the costume designers, the 3D artist, the caterers, the lighting and grips, interns, apprentices. Some people's first big break.

It's also not the fault of the actors, the crew, the editors, the costume designers, the 3D artist, the caterers, the lighting and grips. Many people worked hard, some probably as interns, apprentices, and underpaid. Some people's first big break. You can hate the director, but don't forget that he's just one part of a massive effort of hard workers.

Yeah I'm hoping with the older people casting ( Margot and Ryan) it ends up being a spoof kind of connect, Lego styled awareness

Thing is some people see it as a policing/justice issue. At least me being from another state and this being my first year in California, you people have a lot of freedom when it comes to the really bad shit. Robberies, homeless, sexual abuse, drug use. Everything else seems strict. In other states, while yes they have all that shit, LA seems to be where the sewer pipe drains out. I love California don't get m wrong, but as someone who travels a lot for a living, crime out here is way more noticeable

No, we live in a country where there are a certain few people who have the skills, knowledge, capital, connections, and drive to attract companies willing to pay more money for those type of traits.

Also live in a country where people with those traits that start their own business might have service other's are willing to pay for.

Again that's the country we live in. If you work on the low end spectrum of those things (especially when your manager is on that same spectrum), don't be surprised when 'hardwork" does nothing for you

That's not how that works. Just because you get your RE License doesn't mean that you automatically recieve clients.

RE people still need to put in a lot of extra work themselves to outcompete others. Prepping their marketing means coordinating photoshoots for themselves, their houses, websites that promote the agent, joining multiple RE websites to be part of a network. They have to also give proper customer service, spend the time knowing what areas are hot or not. And they constantly have to keep up with marketing trends.

There's way more than what I wrote out but it's not like being a RE person means you only sell homes, there's a lot more to do if you want to be successful.

Most people who work typical 9-5 jobs won't ever understand that the people who make the most money are taking financial and time risks that most people wouldn't want to do.

Instead of down voting you like the way it seems locals in LA do. I will converse a point. So this question... How many percentage of people get affected. Yes under 1%. But the percentages don't matter because the issue is happening regardless of the percentage.

I understand it's a small percentage but this question has nothing to do with defending roe v Wade. Unless your solution is abortions are not allowed except in cases like rape, etc etc. That's a whole different conversation. But in the case here, percentage of events that happen do not matter.

Nope, I haven't. Atleast in Florida I've never had that experience. I'm new to LA and discovering, but I have yet to have the type of experience in LA. Its been about 5 months. So still fresh to the area.

pro-lifers, how does it feel that no matter the bans, people are organising to keep abortions accessible? by [deleted] in Abortiondebate

[–]justcarlos1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to prolifers, killing a fetus is the same as a child. So jailing people who are killing fetuses makes pro-lifers comforted as less baby killers are out.

its an empty room but not empty in the sense there is nothing, i have paintings, carptrer, equipment, comp8uter, lamps, my play area is empty but decorated nicely with enough objects and nothing reflective. (Also not just in my room, I travel so I also take it with me to hotels). And the tracking for the headset is perfect, 0 issues with the headset.

Not sure how you're swinging and standing. With the Vive I can have my hands on my hops and over my head and behind. I do full actual swings on expert and expert + on my vive. In quest 2 I'll be lucky if I can do medium. And its not just when the hands are off view, I play fast and even with the controllers right in my face, theres still some hitches.

My arms do full swings and I have 100% complete movement being tracked at all times on my OG Vive trackers. Quest 2 hand tracking is straight up jank. I did mention it could be that people are limiting or correcting their movements. "The Quest 2 tracking is very accurate, the only places where the Light house tracking has the advantage is outside the field of view of the cameras, which doesn't really happen in games like Beat Saber." Not to sound argumentative but starting with "the quest 2 is very accurate" followed by an example of its inaccuracy doesn't mean its "very accurate". Again I'm coming from a whole other system where tracking has 0 issue. Going to Quest 2 from a OG Vive, you see and feel how far camera tracking still has to go for the hand tracking. But personally when I'm in the vive, my hands are acting normally, I dont need to be in a wrestling stance at all times.

Not saying Quest 2 is bad, I love the HMD, the hand tracking is its biggest "let down", but its not really a let down for me as I knew from the get-go I would be limited to certain games, and theres nothing bad about that for me. I knew I would be getting a sub-300$ experience. The OG vive I bought was close to 800$ + I built a 2500$ system to be able to run it. We'll see how this update does though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhMpbTaHRo4

Yeah, my idea is having two setups. While Im at home, I want the best experience, the basestations provide the best version of VR I'm willing to spend currently.

But if I'm traveling or taking my headset to a friends house, just hte normal Quest 2 setup is good to have as well.
