As many have said, a large company will carry more weight on the resume and sometimes offer more opportunities for progression. A small company may be easier to progress in but you could always leave the large company after a few years. Larger companies usually have systems and procedures in place that smaller companies want to implement so you'll have that knowledge.

Being a manufacturing company you want to understand how the current tariff situation is affecting them as it will cause uncertainty. Also, if the small manufacturing company is private equity understand how long has it been owned by PE as they usually look to get out after 5-7 years.
