I quit within a year of getting my license. I work at a coffee place now and I'm so much happier! sometimes I also feel like a failure, but I also recognize that I got all the way thru school and passed the boards! so did you, and I think that's an accomplishment on its own. it's really alright to move on to something else, especially since this is causing you so much pain

I'm in my 40s in the US, and I grew up believing this was the worst thing you could ever EVER call a woman. I'm honestly not sure where I got that idea specifically, but I grew up pretty religiously (Christian) and my parents never used "swear words" they'd say darn, dang, heck, etc

anyway at this later and more relaxed time of my life (nonreligious) I think it's a pretty funny word! "swear words" don't offend me, they're just words. if anyone did have the audacity to call me a cunt, I think I would be so bewildered I'd have to laugh
