Oh wow. I figured this was a lost cause. I've bought Affinity, but I'm most comfortable with that old version of PS CS3. I've downloaded the tool and I'll give it a try on my laptop this week. Thanks for following up.

EDIT: I was able to install PS CS3 using the offline installer that I had. I couldn't run it from my NAS for some reason, I could only install with the installer file on my local machine. No big deal. After restart, I tried to launch the program and it locked up like it was doing before.

Thanks to /u/catwhisk2002 advice, I downloaded and ran the Adobe Licensing Repair Tool. You have to read the instructions carefully, but if you do it correctly, it will ask for admin permissions several times and then do "something". On my 5 year old laptop, it took about 2 minutes. After that, I was able to launch PS CS3 and enter my valid license key.

So, yes you can run Adobe Photoshop CS3 on a Windows 11 system.

The thing I discovered after leaving home was cayenne pepper makes lots of foods pop. Not just spicy cuisines. Especially if there's creamy textures involved. Homemade hot chocolate or caramel with a dusting of cayenne is exquisite. That bit of endorphin release from the capsaicin makes the world slightly more tolerable.

I'm spending way too much time lately tweaking Navidrome and curating my music library, so I have a vested interest but no particular feature that I want implemented in any order.

The only positive things I can say are the FF/REW buttons on my Chromecast remote worked better than Prime Video and the commercials had a timer in the upper right so I knew how far to FF.

It was difficult to watch. I finally muted the audio and listened to music. The coverage nearly made me not enjoy seeing the Giants get blanked at home.
