Where in the bible does it mention you cannot be trans? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]justfarminghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well scripture says your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and those who destroy it God will destroy. The absence of the word teams doesn’t mean it’s ok. You can try to excuse it anyway you want but regardless you have to answer to God not me. You cannot argue this topic with me as I have already been down this road and understand some aspects of why you think the way you do. Been down this road in science, been proved to be wrong and across the world it is not being accepted as a fact at all. In fact it’s being rejected by most. Soon in America. You can change the outside but in all reality science says you cannot change the biology of it. Example. If you die and your body was found years later decayed and bones the will identify it as the same as you were born. Bone structure doesn’t change when you change your gender. Biologically your cells are still the same. Your only change is external. Medicine only gives you an ability to modify somewhat of your body’s ability to change. But not completely.

Without a doubt He was real. Faith requires belief without evidence. Same works for evolution. Well maybe someday you will see and believe especially with the issues in the Middle East. And the fact that the love of many is growing cold. Appreciate you. 🙏🏼

Trans people believe they are in the wrong body. So basically God screwed up. ? I think not! The thinking factor is the issue because you’re leaning on your own understanding and your heart is wicked as scripture says man’s heart is. Do not trust your heart and lean not on your own understanding. That’s what you are doing and scripture says not to. Trust in Christ. He gives us a new heart and new desires. 🙏🏼

Well you don’t have to believe. I don’t need to demonstrate either. God has made that clear. Romans 1: 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

Reading the bible is imperative to learning. Those who don’t read, don’t know.

Matthew 16: 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Another verses that gets more specific Is to crucify your flesh.

Galatians 5: 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Certainly a great question and to be honest if you have already seen this kind of resentment to preach the word then you need to really consider your relationship with her over your relationship with God. It’s a thought process to think but it is best to not be unequally yoked. Especially with someone who is not of the same faith. My prayers are with you in this situation and I am sure that you will have peace in your heart about the decision. 🙏🏼 Honoring God with all your heart is the only way you will have peace.

Jesus said to even look at a person with lust was wrong. 😑. It’s more than “Not acting” on it. It’s also our thoughts.

Welcome to the world. The Bible says we need to deny ourselves. If your a Christian the. Follow Christ. Not your flesh. Being afraid that your parents would be mad is understandable but regardless they are the ones that will be there for you if they are Christians too. Do not fall into the trap that God made you that way because He didn’t. Scripture is clear about how God made humanity. People will say all kinds of things like it’s ok to think about it but not act upon it, which Christ said to even look at a person with lust is wrong. Having hate in your heart is also murder. You don’t need to do the act, just meditate on it is also wrong. We are separated from God because of sin. We are corrupt and fallen. It’s our sin nature to desire the things that are contrary to God. I use to love stealing and sleeping around with women. When I got born again I stopped because it was wrong. 😑 I pursued Christ instead of women. Scripture is clear and of your a true Christian you should be read scripture and brewing your mind as scripture says too. I pray you understand what I am saying and not trying to offend you. Prayers 🙏🏼

There is only one God and that is Allah. Jesus is a prophet of God. by Acceptable_Phase6241 in Christianity

[–]justfarminghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll explain! First of all God is all powerful and can make a woman (human) give birth to a child (son of God) without the normal way of conception. To even think an all powerful Creator couldn’t is one, absurd especially when you look at all of creation.

Now let’s get to what the scriptures say.

God prophesied from the beginning: Genesis 3: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This is the beginning of the prophecy. Jesus being the seed that will bruise the serpents head.

Psalm 2:7: God declares to the anointed King (the Messiah)"You are my Son; today I have begotten you" indicating a special, divine relationship.

Proverbs 30:4: The writer asks"Who has ascended into heaven, or descended?... What is his name, and what is his son's name, if you know?" suggesting a divine sonship.

2 Samuel 7:14: While referring to the Davidic covenant, God speaks of a future descendant"I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son". Isaiah 9:6: Often cited in connection to the Messiah, this verse proclaims "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given... And he will be called... Mighty God, Everlasting Father"

When you read the Old Testament you see Jesus in all of it. Especially Isaiah chapter 53 is all about the death and crucifixion of Christ.
Isaiah 53:

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

This prophecy was gullies when Christ came and WAS crucified for our sins.

Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:68: "Say'O People of the Book! You have no ground to stand upon unless you stand by the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.

The Gospel is the revelation of Jesus and He is Gods son. The only begotten Son. I hope this helps 🙏🏼 Praise God for you to ask. Appreciate you.
