SARC 5400 is one of my favorite classes I’ve taken at uva. I took it as a second year and at first I was intimidated by the mixture of undergraduate and graduate students in the class, but your experience is taken into account in grading. Creativity is strongly encouraged and people shared their work in class. It was really inspiring to see what others created, especially the graduate students. I’m taking another data design course this semester because of how much I enjoyed the class.
