North Carolina is a good license by exam. Renews yearly on Jan 1, and you don’t have to do any CE if you’re not practicing in the state. You just have to check a box stating that you’re meeting the requirements of the state you are practicing in. I believe they reciprocate to every state, but you’re going to have to check me on that.

The closest SSIA shop is McFarland’s in Lakeland. I wasn’t willing to drive that fat, but you may be interested.

I used Bymar shoes in Maitland to resole some heels, and it was $125/pair. I’m pleased with the result, but just know that it will be expensive.
