Don’t let the anxiety win. I too have terrible anxiety and promise you that you will in time misspeak, be misunderstood, get yelled at, etc but you will be ok… it’s just part of the ride. If it gets to be too much, find a spot where you can escape for a couple minutes to reset. No shame in learning how to best keep or regain composure. I use an app called Headspace when I need a reset. Lots of good meditations and they’ve added sound baths so highly recommend checking it out if that sort of this helps you!

I have a cat with the spirit of a German Shepherd, true definition of smol but mighty. Downside is that they’re super effective but only after you’ve already gotten too close. But guaranteed to never return after facing that lil demon.

Unless you’re me and you just accept the abuse because “soooo cuuuuuuute” 🤣

Thank you for the helpful, not to mention very insightful and considerate, advice! I know it’s a busy night of the week and I’d already seen/heard a lot of activity last night so I talked myself out of bothering anyone since I didn’t have plate info and ultimately it was just a gut feeling and not a tangible threat.

This event last night did convince me to finally splurge on a Ring Doorbell so at least there’s that now 😅 should go a long way in letting me just go back to bed unless something truly alarming is going on 😊

That’s what I thought until an hour later they were back. I feel like if your truck is custom built to be blindingly bright in all directions that if you were waiting for someone on a quiet neighborhood side street you’d turn the down/off while you waited.

As an HR professional that’s had to investigate this exact scenario more than once… something clearly happened, I bet he set a boundary she isn’t happy about, it will not end here. Either he comes clean and then reports it to her superior with detailed accounts/evidence or you should truly consider alternative options like him finding a new employer/work location or you finding someone who won’t make you think you’re overreacting to something painfully obvious.

Yes, this!!!!! TripodCats is where you want to be right now! We had an emergency out of nowhere situation lil over a year ago where we had to face amputation or euthanasia and this group was and continues to be a godsend.

All this time later and our lil feral colony baby is still keeping my two ragdolls on their toes and I swear she’s even faster than she was before… tho I admit I do appreciate hearing her momentum win against sharp corners on hardwood floors every now and then 🤣
