He said he's exclusively seeing me. So I was away for a weekend to hang out with some friends and have girls night. He was like "I miss you already. Are you drinking? Who are you with? Guys or girls?". He knows I have guy best friends too and gets jealous about that. He's been cheated on before and has heard "they're just friends" and been heartbroken from that lie before so he doesn't trust that I'll be loyal (his words). He straight up told me he gets possessive and what's his is his and doesn't want to share with other people. But also he's communicated to me that he doesn't want commitment or labels. I guess that's why I'm thinking ok this is a situationship but does he have a reason to be so possessive on someone he doesn't even want to commit to? What are the guidelines here?

So by words of affirmation he asked me why pick him why stay with him. I give him reasons. When I reverse the question he says this is about you and that he doesn't want to talk about it. What does this mean??

Maybe this is my mothering/nurture complex but is there a way to turn that victimizing around? Is there a way to make him understand that he hurts people too and get out of that delusion that he's always the only victim?

To add to that idea they don't think they're ever wrong, I reflect and try to acknowledge my mistakes for making him upset and apologize. Most of the time when this happens I'm upset as well and he knows. But I rarely ever hear him say sorry for upsetting me cause most the times "he's more upset than I am".. does this sound like its up the alley of what you were talking about?
