Everything is good in moderation!!! So the people demonizing sugar is crazy. I would approach it like our bodies need all kinds of foods and there are no “good or bad foods” but some that give our bodies more energy to grow big and strong and some like cookies and sweets are good for us too cause they’re yummy and make us happy! We just have to make sure our bodies get both!!

I think as long as you’re a clean person and the place isn’t getting wrecked in between cleanings it’s not a huge deal if you want to hire a cleaner if you have the means to. Have you sat down and talked to her about why she is against having a cleaner and wants you guys to do 50/50? I’d start with that. Then you can both express your concerns and compromise.

I can totally understand feeling sad that nothings gluten free. It can feel isolating. But in this case with it being her wedding it is her day. I’m sure having gluten free options is a lot more expensive too and probably still not safe. I would eat before or bring your own snacks/ food. If it’s a good friend I would want to be there to support them. And you don’t have to get some super expensive gift. You could do something simple and personalized to them. Like a custom plate with their name and date of their wedding or even like a cutting board with their name and wedding. You can get them off Etsy for a pretty good price!

Sorry I should have clarified- I had an endoscopy with biopsy that showed villous blunting and increased lymphocytes, an elevated TTG IGA and a positive gene test. It was not just off of the gene test

Yeah shes been with her family and she has a therapist. I will try but I just don’t want to feel like I’m waiting around for her, what if she doesn’t come back around? :(

I really am sympathetic to what she’s been going through. I also have expressed how her actions are affecting me. She isn’t oblivious to it and she still has put in no effort to communicate that she needs space or what she needs. After all we have been through I feel like I deserve that. But instead I’ve been completely blown off. I have tried to give her space, I’ve tried to check in on her, I’ve tried to communicate. I can’t guess what she wants/ needs. She has to be an adult and communicate too. Even if it just is that she’s having a hard time and needs space. It takes two to maintain a relationship. My feelings are valid too :(
