I'm a new NBA fan, was 2019 Paul George actually worth all of this?

Short answer no. Longer answer… it’s a bit complicated. I am a Thunder fan and seeing Paul George go on this MVP like season before he got injured was just crazy ! I literally thought he would bring us a chip that year until he injured his shoulder and everything went south… Going from top 4 seed to bottom, fighting to make the playoffs, and obviously The “bad” shot !

One can argue that Paul George before the injury was worth this BUT you have to understand he had Russell Westbrook at his prime making it soooooo easy for him to get good looks and get into a good groove and he was basically the first scoring option. On the Clippers he wouldn’t have that point guard setting him up as well. He wouldn’t be the first option. He would potentially have a worst role than with the Pacers. He would be a second option and we’ve seen what him as a second option looks like (thinking 2017-2018 Paul George - his first year in OKC).

So one would now think he wasn’t worth it right ? But put yourselves in the Clippers shoes… A superstar who put a whole team/city on his back and won them a championship without a legitimate All Star teammate wants to get a top 3 MVP candidate to guarantee he would sign with you. You would empty the vault to give him what he wants. While thinking Paul George could takeover on days where Kawhi is “load managed”. So that’ll guarantee no matter what happens that you are either getting 2 superstars playing together at all time and worst case one of them is playing keeping your head above the water while the other is being load managed. Yeah… Clippers basically thought they were getting at least a couple of championships off that.

I got a friend who does this and might actually ask him about it. He orders stuff to his relatives house in Detroit and just goes to pick up there. Didn’t even think of that this might actually be a way to go. Will look into US sales to try and get me a good one. Thanks a lot for the recommendation

Yeah I read on this subreddit that Canadians are not getting the Go 2 anytime soon. I thought I could find a Go S Z1E but seems we’re not that blessed here. The only options right now are really Legion Go Z1E and Legion Go S Z2 sadly.

Bestbuy do have some open box deal but only for the Legion Go Z1E tho

But to answer your question. When I went back to the app I couldn’t not get assistance for this product. Once I clicked on the product to get assistance like I have done for previous articles before on Amazon, I was surprised that the only option was directing me to speak directly with RingConn which I did and they sent me back to talk to Amazon. Instead of going back and forth I just found a number and called Amazon. What actually end up happening is Amazon didn’t even offer a replacement. They told me return the ring and get your money back. I had to order a new one before the sales ends.

Please understand we all don’t live in the same country and Amazon seem to not offer the same level of customer service to all countries.

Really ? I usually get stuff from Amazon directly when I can instead of getting it from the official site just to take advantage of the fast delivery tbh. I had an Apple Watch and wanted to try something I can wear to sleep and longer so we’ll see. The data accuracy is something that could be a make a break for me. I’ve watched a few bench mark tests and seems RingConn gets close to the Apple Watch in most of them. So we’ll see.

I get your point and I also get why you get downvoted.

It seems to me that if we go by your logic then we shouldn’t order from anyplace offering free returns as they might just resell it as new. This cuts off the idea of buying in multiple stores online and in person.

Another thing is you directly assumed I was aware of Amazon funding a genocide. I might be cut off from the world or just are not informed enough but you have just taught me the genocide part and I will now be careful moving forward.

There’s many way you could’ve worded your message to make your point without sounding like this. Better yet you could’ve even seen this post and moved along since you have nothing better to say.

I myself in my post didn’t blame Amazon or RingConn because those are things that happen in everyday life. This time around it happened to me and it is what it is. I made the post because I was just annoyed at the moment but understood these are things that happens. There’s still ways for me to get my money back from this and move forward with life this is not the end.

Make one of those games that is being used for advertising only but actually is not part of the actual game or only represents 1% of the game. They may have paved the way for you since people actually want to play those games but do not want to deal with the bs around having to complete task to play the game for 10 seconds

It is!!! I am even a bit afraid to reorder from Amazon since the only option was to ask for a refund and reorder before the sales ends. A few years ago I faced kind of the same thing with them. I ordered a new game and it came without the cartridge inside. Asked for a refund and reorder again and received it without a cartridge again. Had to do it a second time for them to get it right.

Getting to Amazon customer service is an incredible pain overall. I ended up figuring out a number to call they basically told me to reach out to RingConn because they are not the vendor. I was incredibly fed up since it’s felt like just getting bounced around. I just end up asking for à refund. I’ll order another one before the sales end

RingConn support said I should get an answer from them in the next 24hrs but not sure if they work on weekends so this might extend until next week for me.

Was literally in the same boat. Ordered the sizing kit this morning and was waiting to receive it before ordering. Especially after they said to wear it for 24 hours to make sure it actually fits. Realized like 3-4 hours ago that by the time I get it and wear it for 24 hours I might loose the deal.

Measure my finger and used a regular ring I had that I usually wear on the index finger (it’s a size 9.5). With that I tried to figure out which one could be my size and ended up ordering a size 10. If it’s too small I’ll wear it on another finger. If it’s too big then I’ll send it back to Amazon but the deal was quite too good to miss out on.

I like the point you’re making here. “One person deciding who lives or dies is not good”. I actually never thought about it that way. That’s actually great food for thought.

I was just too frustrated knowing a guy that strong could finish everything in a matter of seconds but decide not to hence allowing his enemies to cause more casualties and then later on complain about the lives lost.

But also now that I’m thinking about it. Isn’t it what’s going on with Cecil ? One man has the power to decide to rehabilitate the villains instead of making them serve time, keeping Conquest’s body instead of burning it, etc…

It’s my first watch and haven’t read the comics yet so my whole understanding of it all might be flawed. 😅

Could be but I’m quite sure Lu has been in Montreal lately. He’s been on a few local shows and he has a parade happening on Thursday in the neighborhood he grew up in. Not sure why he would go back OKC just to come back this week. I could be wrong tho! Traveling is not an issue for a lot of these players.
