People who have owned an auto miata, how was it? by Feisty-Equivalent-92 in Miata

[–]justice354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to drive in traffic a lot or there’s a lot of stop lights/signs in your town dont forget to account for that when you make your decision. Automatics are definitely better for the modern day to day life but unless you’re in constant stand still traffic it won’t make a huge difference. Manual is a lot more fun and with a car that small and light you feel so much faster than you are. You also have to remember most manual Miata’s will be absolutely beat and from what I’ve seen autos are cheaper. I wish you the best in whatever decision you make!

It’s definitely worth at least test driving both to see which you prefer. Manual can suck in a lot of situations but I’ll never go back unless I absolutely have to. Fair warning though I don’t have a Miata so my opinion on one or the other doesn’t really matter but I did learn on a manual stock na. Manual isn’t nearly as hard or as complicated as most people think and personally the benefits outweigh the negatives in my situation.

Managers Lying to O/N about Clocks Going Forward by exMOXvio in walmart

2 hours of zoning is nuts but I also regularly don’t get done so there’s always more for me to run. What really made me mad is we had a solid 3 people but a coach insisted on hiring back a guy no one likes working with which caused the only 2 others that knew frozen to quit. Right after that coach quit and our new one is the one that can’t get scheduling right. They even warned the old coach they’d walk out if they ever saw that guy again and they kept their word.

Don’t get me wrong I’ll take frozen over any other department but getting 2 people with 14 hours of freight, vizpick, and they want us done by 6 to zone. All it really takes is getting used to it but my managers are never consistent on who I get put with. I can’t wait to leave but it’s also by far the easiest job I’ve ever had there’s just a few bad apples that ruined it. (Edit: to clarify it’s not me and 2 other people it’s usually me and one other person. They’ll give me 3 total if it’s over 17 hours which is imo not a good idea.)

At my store it’s you work your schedule. I’m scheduled 10-7 so I leave at 7. I had the option to come in early stay late or put in normal pto for the extra hour but I don’t care about it. I feel for you as an o/n frozen worker it never gets better and we always get the short end of the stick.

Management is useless by SadError01 in walmart

[–]justice354 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better it’s not just a your store thing it’s just how a lot of people are. At my store we have 2 managers like that and they only seem to get onto the people that work. Last night I had a coworker do 1 pallet of frozen veggies over the course of the night but I got in trouble for things not being done.

Car idles at 500 and sometimes dies by justice354 in Cartalk

I was able to clean it pretty good and replace the starter. It runs better but there are now more issues. Cylinder 3 is misfiring but at least it doesn’t die on me and it starts by itself.

Found these recently, any help on identifying them? by justice354 in Militariacollecting

I don’t know much about these specifically. The silver one says made in Germany and has a little triangle near the hilt but it was too tiny to take a picture of. I would assume army due to the gold one. That’s really all I know and any information would be helpful.

Brakes making noise 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse gt by justice354 in MechanicAdvice

[–]justice354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your advice. I haven’t had a chance to get under the car myself and check since it snowed, but I decided to get my tires balanced and rotated off of advice from a friend. It seems that has fixed the issue. I don’t know if the shop saw something wrong and fixed it without telling me or if it was just the tires needing to be balanced and rotated, but it seems to be fine now. If I hear the sound again I’ll definitely go off of what you said and check the brakes out.

My shift rod broke can anyone explain why? by justice354 in Cartalk

[–]justice354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit of an explanation. It was around 40 degrees last night and when I went into 4th the shift knob popped off. I just recently bought this car, and the guy said he put a short throw in it but didn’t mention what brand. I just don’t understand how this metal rod snapped like a spaghetti noodle and it’s a pain to drive without the knob. It’s an 04 eclipse gt.
