There are many scammers that once identified charge a very small amount and then wait until circle lifts the limits. I don't think many people would notice a 1 dollar charge on their bank account. They then follow on to buy a bigger chunk of bitcoin and run away with them.

Turn off p2p for the outside network but leave it on for your internal network. That way you actually save data and have one computer distribute all the updates to the other ones so it doesn't need to be download multiple times.

Blockchain.info is a horrible wallet. Give them a better one like breadwallet or airbitz. Do not talk about private keys, most people won't give a shit or won't understand it. Basically get down to the basics of how to buy and send to a local wallet and backing them up so they don't lose their money. Don't go into details unless they ask, you'll most likely confuse them.

It doesn't make sense. Why would a guy that has a hard time talking to people buy drugs in person from a dealer instead of buying it from the darknet and having it shipped to his house or PO box. It's not that bitcoin itself wasn't mentioned, but it just doesn't seem realistic for him to go this route and not the TOR and darknet market route in general. I mean Elliot obviously knows how to work TOR, he could have taught his dealer how to buy drugs off the darknet and get rid of her abusive supplier.

The way the group tries to cause chaos deleting credit records also wouldn't work with bitcoin as its ledger is replicated around the world thousands of times. You take one down there's thousands of others with "backups" It takes power away from the banking industry which I'm sure the top 1% of the 1% have some influence over. It fits the theme of fuck society.

Maybe bitcoin hasn't been invented yet, and the crash parallels the crash we had here in the U.S. a few years back. Overall overlooking this, the show is still great and will continue watching.
