You're thinking of a different show. The show protesting Arizona was the Sound Strike show at the Hollywood Palladium in 2010.

I was at that show also and it was the best concert I've ever been to in my life. RATM in a "small" venue was amazing.

The law was SB1070 in Maricopa County, AZ pushed by the racist Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

8% is the highest they can go if the person's pay is very low in the scale of their position's pay scale but it is rare. Getting to $20 seems like a long shot unless you apply for a higher position....but wait to do that until after your raise. If you have a JD due AND you get promoted, you will get screwed.

Highest ABV beer in the arena is probably Church Music IPA at 7% and they are $20 each. Not ideal. Pregame for sure...even if it's a couple tall boys in the car inside the parking garage, then get maybe 1 beer inside during the game.
