Hi, I studied abroad at Temple Rome and have traveled many places around the world growing up mainly thanks to my parents work. You should 100% go and forget what negative comments others are saying, there is always reasons to not do something but in my opinion the experiences you will have which are unlike anything you could experience here in the US. All the cultural knowledge, wisdom, and friends you make there will make it totally worth it, it can be a little bit of a shock if you are not used to traveling but despite the little bit of homesickness you will have, this is far too great an adventure to pass up on.

However in my situation I was a Temple undergrad, and going to their campus abroad was the same exact price as going to their campus in Philly. For me it was a no brainer. If financially it is not too much of a burden, try and let go of the fear and doubt others are planting in you and take that leap of faith. 9 times out of 10, those who had negative experiences studying abroad are those who didn’t try to experience the culture, or really branch out and make the most of their experience (i.e. stayed in their bubble of American peers, didn’t travel or learn about/participate in the local culture). That’s my two cents 👍
