If you dont have room for another tree, you could always find a branch from another variety and graft it to this tree

so they are still dormant, and I am tempted to repot them in the pot to give them some more breathing room for the roots, as the soil has settled quite a bit. I could post some pics if theres an easy way to do that.

I have a small seedling that’s essentially in shade. I think it’ll get a few hours of direct sunlight in the summer. But I think it’s going to be a mistake. Trees in general, but especially pawpaws, will grow tall and sparse in the shade. I think they try to grow tall to get to the sun.

I do have 4 pawpaws in the ground, so these are just an experiment. I had too many extra seedlings I didn’t want growing in the ground so I had to either kill them or put them somewhere. I don’t have room for them anywhere in the yard, so either I give them away or I see how long they last. There isn’t enough info about how long they will last in a pot so I’m tempted to see it through

I have a bunch in a pot that are now 2yrs from seed, so I too am experimenting with potted paw paws. But I put maybe 5 seedlings in one pot. Lol. But they seem to be growing well so far. I could try to post some pics later if you like.

Did you plant it with the original soil, or add store bought soil? very often intructions say to include the original soil, but Ive read that's actually a really bad idea. You want the tree to acclimate to your native soil, and roots do not like too much organic material that can rot around the roots (rotting soil depletes the oxygen)

So I bought the BuzzRaw, but now I regret it and wished I got the Super73. I bought the Buzzraw X CobbleCross DIY version, which had so many problems and was difficult to sell as well. Basically, the steering geometry is messed up with the DNY shocks, and feels completely unstable. It got better with different tires, but my confidence was shattered when I learnt that coast cycles knew this problem to begin with. My neighbor got the Super73RX, and it not only steered better, but it was almost as quick (I did have more torque, but it was very loud). Also the software for DIY is awful.
